Why is the word ********* filtered in-game and the forums?

It makes no sense that ********* is filtered. It is a proper noun.

It'd be like filtering Tim or Pete.

I can't name my guild ********* .

I can't say ********* in any of the chat channels.

I even tried to name my ship ********* and nothing worked.


Why is ********* offensive to anyone? I learned that word in kindergarten.

CCP please remove the restrictions on *********.

I often say ****** when I really mean ****************. People can get confused by ********* thinking your are saying **.

Cockpit? Not that word I guess....

I played a mech.game, chromehounds. The game included cockpits as the core component, yet on their forums cockpit is censored.
