Did you lose your shiny Tengu to a Thrasher and neutral logi then come to the forums expecting sympathy but actually get your arse handed to again - albeit textually this time rather than digitally - by any chance?

Troll.

1/10 for getting to 2 pages.

-10 pirates don't ninja salvage in hisec.

Also, PVE in PVP capable ships then, easy peasy lemonsqueezy

There are already consequences for pirates. If you are -5 you are free to shoot for everybody and also attacked by npc militia. if you commit a crime yoy are flagged= free to shoot.

Hisec doesnt meant invulnerability for you. Hisec means inevitable consequences for players with bad intentions.

I do all my PvE in PvP fit ships, even when I lived in highsec. Never know when you'll get the chance to surprise someone. Works surprising well, you just have to accept the fact that you won't be getting the max return from your PvE'ing.

I find an Apocalypse, curiously enough, to be quite handy for this. With the (ridiculous) tracking it has on it, you can often blap most destroyers before they can warp out, so you can lol at them from losing a ship, and just warp to a safe.

So, although I was very skeptical of the tracking bonus when it was first proposed, I now bow before the new Apoc. Especially since it no longer looks like a pimp comb.

But seriously, why do people not have safe spots in areas where they mission? I mean, unless you are flying something as fat as an Orca in a L4, there is no damn way he can warp out, ship up, and drop back on you before you can just warp to a safe, and watch D-scan til your timer runs out.

Or better yet, an instadock bookmark within the docking radius of your home station.

Warp to instadock bookmark, instantly dock, go make a sandwich while your timer runs out.

Currently my favourite sandwich is peppered smoked mackerel, watercress and wasabi mayo on rye bread. Try adding a few thin slices of a sharp apple like a bramley to add some crunch and a juicy acidic backnote. And in this hot weather, why not get yourself a tall glass of iced white wine cooler as well?

A sandwich with no mustard, and white win cooler... while it sounds mighty fancy, i think i'll just have a beer.

Why would NPC Pirates manically hunt pod pirates?

If anything they should recognize each other and give each other a courtesy of not engaging.

The only thing I always though would make sense is why do CCP pay -10 pirates for killing NPC pirates. That's like paying known criminals money for solving crimes, and not arrest them! Personally I would much prefer bounty to be held in tags, you turn the tags into your local concord office.

However, If CCP made it so a -10 Pod Pilot received 0 ISK, but still gained standing, and a +5 got 100% of the bounty instantly, and anything in between was just a percentage of the bounty. I would accept that as an alternative, however sec status gains for killing is still the normal rate regardless of standing.

It already has negative effects with current mechanics in place...

You're too lazy to enforce them when you get suicide ganked, so you b*tch about it on the forums and ask CCP to fix stupid...

Got ganked by a -10 today, eh?

I chose to engage the -10 ninja salvager, in a situation I knew I would probably lose. He went suspect by stealing from your wrecks. You are whining that he doesn't get CONCORDed after YOU agreed to consensual PvP via shooting him? Take some responsibility for your own actions.

I am waiting for every race to issue letters of marque, it would work like this, get your standing to 10 with the race in question, apply to a special agent and you can openly shoot anyone in high sec except the race in question in the space owned by the race that issues it, you pay a "tax" for each kill based on the value.

Now there is a change in high sec dynamics!!! Lol

I think I'd also want "Pirate" and eventually "Dread Pirate" added to your name based on how much you killed.... Pirate
