Morning all,

I use Eve-cost to see the profit margins on building things i have a 2nd pc at the side of my main pc for this reason and to run my alt. made it alot eaiser but still a pain to check prices of Manufacturing cost and sell cost.

Why cant CCP !!! next to the Materials needed the cost of them with a little drop down box for the major trade hubs to get the prices from eg Jita, Amarr etc..

then at the bottom the sub total amount in mat cost it knows what the ME + PE levels are on the Blue Print to work out the cost to making one or 10 etc..

be soooo much eaiser then using 3rd party sites such as Eve-Cost.eu

Whats everyone think to this Idea ?

It seems you have finally arrived in the industry of eve or as insiders name it: Spreadsheets online!

Try 'Isk Per Hour'. It's the bee's knees. It gives you a run down of everything needed to build a given item and the cost of everything. You can even build a shopping list that tells you the amount of each component you need to build, the amount and cost of all the raw materials you need, and the total cost and profit of everything you listed.

yeah its a good tool, but am trying to say why should we have to use any tools ? why cant CCP put it into the game ? have a drop down for regions tab and major trade hubs so we can get prices from them to see the build cost.

Well, that would be too easy, wouldn't it? Blink
Sure, I would like that too for myself, but a properly set up spreadsheet you update once in a while or a tool like IPH is much faster than clicking through several dozens of BPOs. Plus you have more ways to customize that one, e.g. adding colored backgrounds for different ranges of isk per hour, profit margin and so on.

Haven't played many other MMOs, but I can't name one that does have that function.
