Real Nullsec Numbers please CCP

There has been some ongoing discussion about the state of the game in nullsec, in particular activity vs ownership / control.

CCP please give us real metrics on what is going on in nullsec - ideally ongoing as a graphical representation.

- number of active players in system for > 1 hour (so actually playing there, not just passing through)
- number of pvp engagements
- number of POS online
- number of unique players docking / undocking in each of the stations/outposts.

My view is that the nullsec map needs to be radically changed to revitallize the dead reigons out there, and that the rubbish nullsec systems also need to be re-worked to make them worth playing in. Obviously that then begs the question - how dead are some of their areas? There are places in EVE where SOV has been claimed only a couple of times in the 10 years since the game started, so some places the answer is clearly "it does not get any worse than this in terms of players indicating this system is a complete design failure." Others are nothing more than cyno stations. But others are actually thriving little hives of activity, very far from what some may expect.

Yes, I know Dotlans has ships killed / industry levels / jumps. But the presence of botting carriers and bot miner fleets is of no real concern to me - live players actually playing are. And my current understanding is that a huge number of nullsec systems could be simply deleted and no-one would even notice: those are the systems that map changes should most focus on. So if you want this game to limp along another 10 years, give us the real numbers.

Annecdotally a *lot* of players have un-subbed since Odyssey, and a lot have quit nullsec for lowsec. Numbers please: are these annecdotes accurate"?

Crappy nullsec is fine, providence is a great example of what it can be used for.

What you would need to effect is a ideology change in the alliances holding and not using marginal space.

i dont agree with all the "free" intel, want some metric of whats going on some where? go collect the data
