In the eve system of Jita.

In order from most powerful to least:

Star Trek - Depends on era. Voyager w/ anti-borg plating was pretty tough
Stargate SG-1 assuming they have the Asgard weapons / shields
Stargate Universe - assuming a fully powered Destiny
EvE Ships - Some rust buckets still use projectile artillery! Talk about old-school.
The Normandy in Mass Effect (particle weapons) but poor space combat track record
Battlestar Galactica - best show but bullets? Come on. 80's Battlestar would be in EvE ship class though
Starship Troopers. Flying cans of Raid bug killer is all they are.

Depends on EVE era also. Anyone remember when Titans destroyed everything on grid and could send it through a Cyno?

Battlestar Galactica, starship troopers, and Star trek would win because they could leave Jita under their own power.

What would happen is:

They'd all be going at each other in the biggest epic engagement ever with Tidi at 90+%, and Han Solo swoops in the Millenium Falcon and steals whatever it was they were fighting over with a YeeeeHaaaaa.

And Just as he thought he was home free, He'd be rammed and boarded by Mal and co in Serenity, who proceeds to shoot Chewy in the head without a second thought, takes said item and disappears before anyone else noticed.

Obviously!

...But then as the battle takes place 'in EvE', what would more likely happen is:

The Troopers would pay the SG Dudes not to show up, then Steal the password to the entire federation and disband it.

While Adama turns out to be a Mass Effect spy and Awoxes the Gallactica by self destructing.

So the capsuleers win by default and go back to picking daisies and general carebearing in nul.

Penned up the idea of a crossover of Mass Effect and Eve once.

Threw it in the bin after a while, first rule of writing is that you can't make Frodo a Jedi without giving Mordor the Death Star.

Eve is industrialised to such a hideous degree we Total War drives its peacetime economy. The only match for New Eden would be WH40k, our Pilots are Immortal, can replace ships in hours or pull a fresh one out of storage as we conquer through attrition.

Any tech thrown down in front of our side can be salvaged, analysed and clumsily incorporated if we don't get it (Dustbunnys, T3 hulls ect). Mass Effect.... have a titan fire a DD at a Reaper and see what happens. Now see what a Conga line of them does.

On reflection before I post, the Culture of Ian M.Banks too.

Starbuck would win by playing a musical note causing all EVE ships to explode. Trekkies would be too busy saving Spock from playing the market. Han Solo is too old to do ****, except maybe begging in local.

Cylons would be camping the gate and the Battlestar would simply jump out of system. Who needs gates Lol

darth vader in a falcon. the jam and force choke combo is OP

doesn't matter what ship, jam and forcechoke or eject. now he has your ship. did i mention it's darth vader

what are the chances Vader could send force chokes as bug report attachments, to express his dissatisfaction

that I should worry about losing my hearing is nonsense, because there will always be -=BASS=-

EVE, hands down.

Why?

None of the other settings are even nearly as destructive as EVE's. The XL weapons alone would punch holes in reapers (possibly the most potent 'normal' entity outside of EVE, not including stuff like the Q), let alone doomsday devices. HAving hundreds, even thousands of dreadnoughts available for each of the empires plus the vast amount of sub capital ships? Destruction on a galactic scale. None of the other settings come close.

Star Trek: The borg wouldn't be able to adapt to the massive amount of kinetic energy thrown their way by a quad 3500 cannon. Besides, most weapons in Star Trek are pathetic, and i say this as a trekkie.

Star Wars: Ships with barely any shields at all and construction that would make a Mexican hacienda look like a fortified bunker? Right. The death star is the one weapon with comparable firepower to anything in EVE, though im undecided whether it would be better than a Judgement.

Battlestar galactica? Smartbombs say hello! :)

Starship Troopers? Same there ;p

Stargate? The asgard would probably be too scared to do anything - Even if their firepower could match some Amarr boats they're simply vastly outnumbered. Plus dreadnoughts.

Mass Effect? The Reapers may pose a threat, but well, EVE fleets are MASSIVE. That plus the sheer destructive power would pretty much wipe the Reapers out if they dared attack.

Let alone that the defensive capabilities are also quite a lot better in EVE's setting since they're not laid out to only work as seperate entities. Spidertanking is an in-lore 'thing' and pretty much makes the difference here. All the other settings combined would probably not be able to break a what, 10-20 carrier/titan spidertank?

The only setting that would really rival EVE would be Stephen Baxter's Xelee Sequence. Try using entire galaxies as projectiles in a war covering the entirety of existence, not just one galaxy or a tiny part of it. The Xelee might even rival the Q in many ways.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

If such a thing as FTL existed in the Revelation Space universe I would be tempted to through in their Hell class superweapons as something on par if not exceeding the Terrans of Eve. Granted the desighns are from thousands of iterations of humanity throwing back in time its knowledge till they survive (cough *Homura of Madoka*cough). Firing ranges measured in AU, planet killers and the like. Thing is, like the Death Star an enemy would get one shot before it was detected. After that its dead.

Unless their gravitational signatures propogate at light speed, never found out what we use for FTL sensors in Eve online apart from FTL probes reporting back.
