Thinking about paying isk to players in game to ad for me

I think this is the right place. But, I was thinking about ways to advertise my stuff. One of the things I came up with is to pay people in game to place secure cargo cans and keep them up around high travel high sec areas. The reason why I was thinking about paying players to put them out, and keep them up is because I can't be in all places at once.

I'm thinking about starting with a select few systems to test this out, and go from there. How much do you think it would cost to pay someone to just simply put a can out, ancor it, name it what I tell them to, and do what they have to so the thing stays in space

If your service is terrible all the advertising in the world won't help. But I digress.

Why can't you drop the cans yourself, you could make a video!

That might be more educational than some of his other videos, from what i've heard.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Mostly because traveling 25 jumps isn't fun/possible at times.

Anyways, the ads are going to deal with my Tech Reviews and Help company (using a game to ad a RL company). I have to test this out myself to figure out what I want to name it.

But, I will make a video on how you can drop cans when I am testing this out.

I think it would be interesting to see if it would make a real difference. I might test this out in select systems. Then if that goes well I will test it out in even more select areas by hiring people. Then so on.

I'm trying to figure out a price range from people to deal with this. I can't have it so high that I can't keep this going, but I also need it to be high enough the people doing this will not screw me over. I was thinking about a mil a month to keep up the cans. But, maybe I will pay a bit more.
In fact, depending on how many I need. I might pay 10 mil per can. Obviously there will be an agreement.

This is more about helping me. But thanks for bringing up something that doesn't relate to this post.

How does it not relate to the post? Is a microphone not considered a piece of tech? Reading your excuses about not getting good sound gives me zero confidence in your ability to review and/or help with tech.

You were the only one who brought up my videos. Tech Reviews and Help is just a name of a company. The reason why this related to this post is that's what I want advertise. Now saying I advertise my videos. My mic and help still doesn't relate to the post.
But I will give you some final words on that. If you have a problem with my post. Don't read it. If you have a problem with my help, mic, videos, etc. Don't watch them. But if you do. I have used other methods than a mic to make videos. Check out some of my first videos.

Considering you don't want to / can't be bothered / don't have time to do it yourself, you might want to consider that there would be no way to actually check that the guys you've paid to do it actually bother themselves.

Speaking of which, i'd be more than happy to drop cargo-adverts in every highsec system!

For the right price of course. Cool

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

What price are you talking about. BTW I have to do a few test to see if I will even start this. (I need to see how well it works in some systems. Also, I need to find an area where they need to have the cans (at the gate, station, belt, etc)

BTW I've already thought about that. There would be 2 things that happens.

1. When it is set up, and when they check on it they need to take a screenshot of the date and can. This must be done on a weekly or every other week basis.

2. I would have others that I would hire to check on it at random times. They also must send me a screenshot of the time/date and can. (Also, I might run by once in awhile)

Putting cans as "advertisements" would just make me not want to use your "service" out of spite. Its annoying seeing cans everywhere.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a feeling this type of advertisement wouldn't really work anyways.

BTW I reported this thread so the mods can close it. There is no point in having it up since the idea would of went against the rules.
