Oh its simply :) you will be on the wrong side my blasters ;)

wrong side? You mean behind them? Left, right? Because in front can not be? That would be the right side for me as a noob ^^
it seems you like to shoot noobs in Ventures with T3s or defenseless pos modules or defenseless capsules with a 30 people fleet. ^^

Shocked Crazy stuff you do. POS Shooting - how exciting P

Yeah we may probably meet some time and I may loose against your fleets you like to hide behind because we are only 3^^. Most probably for sure. I don't care really to loose my venture or Procurer. Wouldn't be the first one. Lol

@OP

Why don't you create some passive income out of your C1 and the BSs you put effort in building?

You could easily rent out your old home, and throw the BSs into the deal to make the package complete.

The new occupant(s) will receive

- a C1 to make some isk in (not sure how much)
- means to defend their new home
- all that for a very low monthly fee of say 200mil (assuming you can make that much - but I believe you can)

It's a win-win, and differentiates your offer from competition.

nice idea, but we are only 3 accounts with some alts.
We like to have all efforts (chars) concentrated on our new home, including PI, etc., but maybe worthwile to think about.

The only problem I see is, that a month will be enough time for the "renting" party to build some BS themselves, attack and destroy our Tower, having just paid 200M ISK and got a nice C1, nice killmails and some "fun". The risk/reward(effort) is not good enough for our corp. In a bigger corp this might be a better idea where you have 2-3 alts to be left in the system for refueling and probing.

But you were going to SD the BSs anyway and abandon the C1 right? So that way you make 200M ISK - which is as much a C1 would go for if you decided to sell.

You have to think about it from the renters' point of view. What does a renter want? The ability to farm and make some isk in a relatively safe environment. Your POS offers just that, and on top you have some shiny BSs to add an extra layer of safety for your renters.

Sure they can destroy the POS and the BS but that would make them work hard to rebuild the same things. Doesn't make sense to me. If I was a renter I wouldn't want the people who know where my new home is to be my enemies. So, if anything, I would offer to buy the POS and BSs, making new friends in the process.

But I believe the key argument here is that the people wanting to clear a WH of structures and ships, won't be mailing you to rent your hole... Instead, they are probably in the process of scanning down C1s and removing their occupants as we speak.

So your target customers will want safety and they are probably willing to pay a price for that. It's a win-win.

The basic flaw in the whole concept of course is that battleships are not actually better or more powerful than any of the smaller ships you can bring into a c1, quite the opposite. So there is no reason at all to buy a c1 that has battleships in it "for system defense".

I would love to fight c1 residents in their battleships at their static, I could always jump out into hisec but they can't Twisted

Oh, believe me that is so shortsighted from you and seems you never faced a situation against battleship fleet with support ;) Battleships will and can make a difference in a C1 to take over (^^) or defend it if you know how to use them and build a fleet around them! To say "I'd love fight them at their static" is like going with 5 Tornados to kill a Retriever in HiSec and thinking you have done something very big. Roll

Yes 3 accounts with some alts makes for a scary BS fleet with support.

Wow, new to the WH forums and you are already on your way to making friends. Nicely done.

Great point, and a reminder that 90% of the pvp community in Eve do think this way when it comes to pvp. Blobs, gate camps, the full Monty. And they are proud.

@Looser Eto: Smile But it's OK. I usually as well just go out for PvP when I expect to have the upper hand ;) But I would never call me a PvP Elite Player or would try to look that way.

I hoped at least and here we come again to the point about the 3 accounts BS fleet ... let me just check again killmails ... We had 19 friends with us (not counting scouting alts and Booster Chars) incl. full T2 logistic support and we just asked one corporation we have good contact to. From random fleets and Incursions we know others as well, so making friends helps a lot, but you have to look for reliable ones ;) Was a nice fleet including some random ship kills within the 2 days it took when other ships took a look into the wormhole. Everybody had fun, we got our C1 we wanted. Mission accomplished :)

So everybody take care, fly safe and see you when random wh connections will bring us closer. :)
