After building, anchoring and putting online a POS, is it possible to give it to another corp without taking it down again?

No, that is not possible.

But at least it will be faster to tear it down and put it up again with the next expansion.

Why? What's new with POSs?

Anchoring times reduced from minutes to seconds.

I hope it applies to arrays and other structures as well, as they are far more painful to anchor (10 minutes each) than towers and turrets.

EDIT: FYI, structures are invulnerable while anchoring.

they're nuking the anchor/online time of nearly every module (save for a few) to something like 10 seconds.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Actually, 5 seconds to anchor and 3 to online for most things.

Quote:
Jump Bridges now take 30 seconds to anchor (but are otherwise unchanged)
Cynosural Generators now take 10 seconds to anchor and unanchor (but are otherwise unchanged)
Cyno Jammers are unchanged
CSAAs and CSMAs now take 30 seconds to anchor, 3 seconds to online/offline and 10 minutes to unanchor
Turrets, launchers, EW batteries and hardeners now take 5 seconds to anchor/unanchor and 120 seconds to online/offline
Every other structure not already mentioned in this list now takes 5 seconds to anchor/unanchor and 3 seconds to online/offline

5+3 = 8 ... figure that's close enough to 10 Cool

though yes, I realise that "anchor/online" can be read as "anchor or online".

I'd also like to clarify that a POS is not a Player Owned "Station". Officially it is Player Owned Starbase or Structure.

The reason for the distinction is cause station implies that someone can dock with it and you can't dock with a POS (in the sense that you don't go into the instanced station environment with ship spinning and CQ).

An outpost is a player owned station. It shows up on the map, has a name that can be linked to, and can be docked with....

Yes but a newb that doesn't the difference may not.

The clarification was if not to you then to any other mis-informed player that comes a long to read this post in the future and doesn't know the difference or why there is a difference to begin with.
