Basically, when someone attacks you, their force is either going in one direction and is easily deflected or they are moving too slowly and are easily avoided.

I have been fairly lax with my training the past few years, so I don't think I would pull it off now. I doubt I would pull something like that off with any professionally trained person; they learn to suppress the warning signs, facial expressions, tensing, et cetera. They also keep to a better distance, so there is more space to get through, not to mention, once they have broken the weight of the trigger, I would have no hope as they can squeeze the next shots off more quickly.

You can unsub from life I suppose.

Seeing as how you are one of the few people that seems to rise to the top of every single thing they try in life.

You seem to never loose at anything and you are perfect in every way so I can see how your life is boring.

Maybe you can get a God complex and preach to the unwashed masses and then remove the actual God from the heavens. But, then I suppose you would get bored with that, you know, creating universes, creating life, saving life forms from rogue stars, etc etc...

Some days you're the bug, and some days your the windscreen.                   And some days, you're just a man with a gun.

I am fortunate in that regard. When I am in a fight, I suddenly relax and just watch myself do things, which is where the scary lack of control stems from and in most cases, most thugs haven't a clue about fighting. You can usually dislocate an elbow, shoulder or break something and such before any of their buddies can react.

Have you tried dodging bullets?

My sciences are only high school level and in particular, the Newtonian physics that they teach is far outdated. Outside of that I would just regurgitate what some of the popular scientists have written in their publications. I think it takes a good deal of study and research before one can comment on their level. Smile

You might want to add "learning Mandarin" and "detecting when I'm being mocked or called a liar" to your oh, SO impressive list of things you have dreamt about achievements.

God bless Google Translator. "Bubble feces" seems SO appropriate that I'm not even sure I want to know the proper translation.

You can't dodge bullets, that is physically impossible. You can only avoid the place they will be. It is a matter of how little training, how slow and how much warning in body language some people will give you.

Wrong. Right from the original post, I pointed out an example of how I know I will never be exceptional. Possibly because of all the time and effort I did put into art, I shy away from going too deep into other things.

I am considering that. However, I could provide for them on an intellectual level, yet I don't think I am warm or caring enough to provide for them emotionally. The only weigh off is that they might get more attention than at an orphanage.

As for relationships. I have a few friendships that go back almost ( Shocked I am getting old) twenty years. Had only a friend in each of the last two cities and none in this one that I have lived in. Oddly enough, I had more friends when I was shy and introverted, well the more cynical of you will say that is obvious. P
Doesn't feel worth the effort to make friends any more.

Apologies for dragging up a near dead thread but I think the OP should see the tedtalk below. It's one of the more interesting lectures that may help you put things in your life in perspective.

I remember this one time, I was minding my own business when I heard a knock at my door. I went and answered it and this dude with some other fellas offered me a blue pill or a red pill. Well, being bored with my reality, I took the blue pill and wouldn't you know it, I could see thru stuff, jump over buildings, even move so fast that bullets looked like they moved in slow motion. I was a God. I was the God. And I've never looked back. Well, not true there was this one time I got bored....

I have been getting tired and bored of EVE lately.

Didn't log in all of last week. Logged in yesterday and was ganked then last night our POS was robbed. Just makes me so weary.
I tend to get bored and move on to something else as soon as the intellectual challenges and learning are mostly over. For example, I got to the top level of amateur ball room & Latin dancing before quitting that, while my art got to a point where people were hanging it on their walls but in that case I knew if I kept practising it, I would become technically sound but never exceptional as I didn't have that feel for it. Archery? Won a tournament, did culling, bored. I could bore you with the list of different things that I have done, probably easier to list the things that I haven't done.
I have no interest in getting married, having children and such. I had a job that remunerated me well enough that I paid off a relative's farm for them and grew up in a family that was challenging on one side and wealthy on the other. Jobs too, get bored, dissatisfied, fired or quit. I have never felt a sense of accomplishment.
I used to read about 250 books a year, some 40% of them were non-fiction.
People bore me, they have the same pet topic, the same lives they live week after week (I do this too, since I opted out, so not saying I am better than them) and most of them just regurgitate the media.

So what is next?
I don't see any games that call to me any more. Just version # of game Y. The mechanics are all the same, organising volunteers to do things in MMOs is a nuisance (I have run a large and successful group / "guild" before). I have done most things in EVE, made final products from PI items, I have positive standing with a NPC null sec faction, I have made things, mined, PVPed, et cetera.

Anyone doing anything interesting that they can recommend?

No one cares about your real life ffs. If you've done most things in eve, have no interest in trying the things you haven't done, and are bored with the game, isn't it obvious what you should do??? Quit playing the game but keep your account active so ccp gets your money. Also, quit posting.

I plan on living forever.......so far, so good.

Sure you don't. The whole bit about being able to dodge a bullet based on someones finger movements, thats right out of Hollywood.

But then again, you are the most perfect of persons. So, you probably wrote movie scripts but got bored of that after writing too many epic blockbusters.

Right. First off, as a vet of six years in the USMC, there is no such thing as an "EX-Marine". Its former Marine.

Secondly, I can prove my statement of being a former Marine. Can you prove any of your statements of being the best of the best of the best?

Lastly, I'm a disabled vet at that. What the hell are you?

If you wanna dance with me, about me, and my reality, you just let me know when and where, I'll be there. Big smile

wow the OP reminds me of this
1st off: troll, duh pretty obvious
2nd: You may have had sex, BUT you obviously have never had a girlfriend, fiance or wife because getting in a tub of lards pants is easy, but feeding her to keep her happy is a challenge. but seriously, maintaining a relationshit is a real challenge.

Go outside and get some sunlight troll, its good for those pimples
