Battleships in C1 - What to do with them when leaving the WH

Hi,

just a short question to those who may have done this before:

We have build some BS inside our C1 for defending it. Now we are moving out and the question is what we can do with those battleships?

- It seems they can not be recycled, can they?
- Will other pay for them? Most probably not I guess.

What other options do exist to not just blow them up and salvage the wrecks. How big is the chance to move them out from a C1 static Hi through another wormhole?

Warp all your battleship to the sun, do manly things, salvage, done.

You can just sd em without fitting, but where is the fun in that?

current exit is in Sharios and should be there still for 4-6 hours.

Thanks for helping us. But how exactly. You will fly our battleships and we will shoot you down?

Is it actually totally impossible to get a connection from a C1 to a w-space system that could spawn a k-space exit that fits battleships, or just really unlikely?

Impossible, a C1 will never have a hole allowing more than 20,000,000 mass, period.

any time you build a ship too big to get out , you just blow it up and call it " cost of doing buissnes" your choice to either just self destruct it or be creative and use it in some funny way an make a video, anyway i hope you guys are changing up holes and not simply leaving worm hole space 0/

Well, nobody understand sarksm.... :-(

Destroy the Ships........ or if it its possible. repack the ships, put it into a Iteron 5 and fly it out.
I think you could repack the ships after the last patch..... but i am not sure.

Oh, well I did understood it very well :)
Guess you didn't understood my one ;) or did you thought this is our wormhole and it really had an exit in that system? i just picked the first C1 static Hi I found with some activity the last 48hours and have chosen a random HiSec System, that's not too close to any bigger trade hub. And hoped, that someone may fly there to just get some easy kills and then understands sarkasm Lol.

Thanks for feedback all together and no, you can't repack ships in wormholes unfortunately, this patch was only affecting modules. And even then: repacked Battleships are too big to fit in an Iteron. Even if this may change with coming industrial patch, but it's still the problem you can not repack it.

@Kira only: Irren ist menschlisch, also hoffte ich dich vielleicht in die Irre führen zu können :)

have fun, fly safe

Your best bet is to sell the hole to someone that is interested in having a bunch of ready-made battleships waiting for them to defend the place. You probably won't be able to get their market price, but it would certainly help to slightly boost your profit margin.

Other than that, explode them or just leave them in space for someone else to work out what to do with them.

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

In that case they will for sure blow them up and will get easy killmails, i.e. lossmail for us. Not an idea I like. I would rather like to loose them in a good fight, but the chance to get that is too small. So we will just destroy and salvage them.

When you SD them or get killed in them, you get at least the default insurance, which should be quite significant for battleships. Leaving them behind you'd get nothing except the loss mails Blink

Word games don't work as well when you are trying in a non-native language.

And yes SD the ships. you "might" find somone willing to buy it with the ships. But honestly C1's are a dime a dozen.

Question As everybody can imagine english is not my native language, but I wasn't playing word games with the quote you have chosen?

Anyway. Thanks for all replies. Wormhole comunity is new to us and seems to be a positive one :)
@Dark Dreamur:And yes we will stay in a wormhole, we just moved to a C3 and let's see where we will be in 6 months maybe?

WH peeps are some of the nicest people I've ever been blown up by. Seriously, I've had some great conversations with people after a WH scuffle.
