You ignored everything in my post, I see.

You can't just keep saying "it's overpowered because it is overpowered" when people are giving you very valid reasons why you're not seeing the whole picture. The chief problem in your scenario is you think losing scout ships is somehow a bad thing, or makes them worse. Far from it, I have well over 50mil SP and I pod myself around all the time because I'm not poor.

The concept of balancing things around their cost is a poor one in any context.
