Places in eve with no "stargates or planets"? What the heck?

At this point in time have you ever wonder what it would be like to set up like home world. Build up a station, work out of it and move it around space ? Bear well of course until it gets blown up?

Not sure what the other two above me are on about, it's a perfectly valid sort of thought, and anyone can see the appeal of working together to build a station or something like that.

However, living in WH space is probably as close as you can get, since you'd be building your own POS to live out of and probing out WH's etc, or perhaps in null building stations and securing sov.

Point is it would be empty space which you can build from, no planets around and you have to scan for spawn stuff! no stargates to build them or just build them.

Starbases are one thing so least keep adding on to the list of awesome ideas!

Stations - Starbases - NEXT? Well something that could move and be a ship or not? Why redo the star bases when we can find something more cooler to use?



You would have to build a none star-gate route to this special system. Like a track route, or just have a hidden area in space which you hid and people can use special tools to scan you down but have to use some type of jump route.

Nah... Just make it so you can build your own stargate pair. You have to discover the other system, then use a jumpdrive to get to it, then build the gates... and it takes a year to build a gate.

Tactical destroyers... I'll take a dozen Gallente, please.

so what would prevent whatever you put up from randomly floating off into nothingness? would there be a star there to orbit? or some form of gravity well, or would you just end up floating into the nearest star system eventually?

I was in JB-007 once (awaits the gay jokes) - while it has planets, it has no gates or belts, was pretty boring. Not much to do at all except warping around mindlessly.

Take a look at the EVE map. No, look closer... That's right, how on earth would one get to that cluster of systems?
Now watch this years "Future of EVE" fanfest presentation..
What you're suggesting is in the works at CCP, however in a somewhat distant future. Personally I'm really excited about this topic. So many tears to be farmed camping the only entrance to the new systems huehuehue.

I would play Theme Spacestation. Base it on Theme Hospital but replace the Slack Tongue clinic with the Wheel of Justice. I would make Bartertown in space.

What would be cool is areas in space with no stargates... CCP could mac special ships that could mwd fast enough teach those systems.. and light cynos.. we could build our own stargates

Can we have a forest where no one else is, where no one else can shoot us, where we can walk around and kill boars and level up without fear of unwanted PvP?

Wouldn't that be cool?

Wouldn't it be cool if we could each have our own servers?

Wouldn't it be cool if we could have our own concierge GMs follow us around and make the bad people go away?

Wouldn't it be just super duper awesome if people couldn't touch us unless we put up a PvP flag?

Wouldn't it be just swell if we could make ISK hand over fist while AFK while using a third party program to execute keystrokes for us while we were at work?

Wouldn't it be just fantastic if we could buy golden ammo and pay to win?

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a button in the esc menu that allowed you to go back to WoW?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
