It's kinda like the "Blink" episode of Dr. Who. Seen corp mates lose ships to roamers I warned about (dude, you have a can out there yet...yeah, not worried, me and (corp mate name withheld) saw a bunch of Havcs on Dscan 30 mins ago, probably still there...dude, I can see it on scan, you have ore in it? yes, but not worried, but here, let me take a bestower out to try and get it...(jump to can, get hit by havcs, escape in pod) Dude, I got this, (corp mate then feeds said ore camp 1 tangu and 2 drakes ) we then see the following ...Damn't, I need to salavge my wrecks...(bye bye Noctis). I myself have last 2 ships in the last year by being solo in the hole and dozeing off. my bad.

Gotta love WH dwellers.

This thread is funny, contains wisdom, banter, more humor, some good quotes and of course the contagious paranoia that everyone catches in WH space.

What a nice polite, intelligent and kind group of people, and of course each and every one of those who posted would happily shoot everyone else in the face and steal their stuff.

Ever seen Event Horizon? They went into a wormhole. Remember the part where they played the ship's logs and you saw the original crew mutilating each other, screaming and then you had the one, the original captain who tore out his eyes and have them in his hands......well....why do you think I wear these shades?

Don't ban me, bro!

The lack of that archaic mechanism called "Sovereignty" scares the living **** out of NullBear oligarchs.

They can't use the "you're in my space, you do as I say or I'll kill your ass" argument.

Then, due to WH mechanics, most of the time they have no idea where you are or what you're doing -- which is to say what they fear most has actually happened. They have lost CONTROL of you.

They lose sleep over it, they don't understand it and what they don't understand scares them. Sad, huh ? Twisted

Been living in W-space for a while (d-scan OMGwhoseprobesarethose) and had some fun times (check combat probes..OMG who is switching ships). Most of us (d-scan, find a venture) arent crazy (probe down venture) or paranoid (warp to venture) after all its not like everyone (lock venture) is trying to kill us. Most of the folks we meet (hit venture with 2 points) are pretty cool, you get (venture shoots u the finger as he warps off) good small scale pvp (40 man T-3 fleet lands on U....forgot to D-scan) noone owns you cause your in THEIR space (you explode).

Wormholes are very peaceful place when you decide to live there. You will create certain habits from others residents. They call it dscanning. Over time those habits take control of you and suddenly you are terrified of highsec: OMG-SO-MANY-SHIPS-ON-DSCAN! QUICK! GET BACK!!!

I disagree!

Local is a shock to the system after spending time in a wormhole, all those people are scary and have no idea about operational security.

I saw local once. It had someone talking to me. Me specificly. My first instinct was to hop into my onyx and relax on high sec with the bubble up. You know, like a normal person would.

Then i realized that I was in high sec. I had been all along. Someone had just opened a private convo asking me if I want to buy a mining permit.

I hate high sec. Give me my post PvP surveys and no local any day.

Did you buy the mining permit?!!?? :)

Local does feel a bit like cheating but take advantage of what you have given to you. I often forget to close d-scan in HS when moving through there.

Fear the FreightCat doctrine. When you see that many of them on a hole-- er, gate--you know something rotten is up.
