It's not broken.

Depends, if they change it they admit it was broken so in case that happens it would have been fixed.
But i agree with one thing though, they wont do anything about it.

CCP doesn't have to admit a thing. All they need say is "We like this other way of doing things better."

Personally, I hope they *don't* tinker with it. Ever. The tears this practice extracts from cowards are very satisfying.

So every change is a "fix?"

No. I mean, we're arguing semantics but this thread is pointless anyway so I'll entertain it.

Just changing something doesn't mean admitting it was "broken," it just means now they want it to work differently.

Why WOULD they? I don't even understand the argument. Because people are skurred?

"It's hard to know when I'm safe in low/null." Yeah, Franis, that's, like, the point and stuff.

I totaly understand that stealth bombers are tactical part of the pvp and fleet fights, but the way how they can also be used purely to ruin others way of income.
No, they really can't. Only said “others” can do that.

Thing what im amazed is that ccp havent done anything to this,
Maybe because it's not a problem?

This aint the issue thou, issue is that they can prevent people from earning their isk just by logging in and going afk, since you cant mine or you can mine but you will surely lose your ship when the afk cloaker happens to come back.
Again, no. Only the isk-earning people in question can make that happen. The cloakers are (by very definition) not doing anything. Your decision not to undock is not a gameplay issue — it's your choice and you are the only one who can change it.

Everyone has a great point but the bottom line is that AFK cloaking is faulty in the game only because there is no "counter" to it.
…because there is nothing to counter. They are themselves a counter to local, and a counter-counter makes no sense. If you want the counter gone, you have to adjust the source mechanic so that the counter is no longer needed.

Anything a cloaker can do can be countered by trapping them, shooting them, counter-dropping them.

There is only 1 way to make ISK in EVE. You're right, if you have an AFK cloaker in your asteroid belt there's nothing you can do. You can't go somewhere else, you can't go ratting, you can't do PvP. Basically you're hosed. Pirate

Normally I would refer to an already existing thread about the subject, but there are to many.....Sad
Please use the forum search function before you post about a perceived problem in EvE to see if there is not an existing thread about the same subject.

Thread locked.

The rules:

As a courtesy to other forum users, please search to see if there is a thread already open on the topic you wish to discuss. If so, please place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forums needlessly, causing good feedback and ideas to be lost. Please keep discussions regarding a topic to a single thread.
