Pilot Adalwin - as a warning; EVE University has a very bad habit of going to terrorize the citizens of the Bleak Lands. Through combat logs I can see that you haven't gone there yet - and I suggest that you keep out of those roams in the future too if you value the lives of innocents.

I dunno. That might make sense if we were the first civilizations that arose in the cluster. Yet we aren't. There's the Jove, the Sleepers, the Talocan, etc.

Every piece of evidence you bring up is easily explained by the actions of any of those civilizations. The Jove practice extremely involved genetic manipulation - is it so outlandish to imagine that their earlier attempts produced genetically similar humans throughout the cluster? As little as we know of the Jove, we know far less about the races now gone. We have theories about what sort of technology the Sleepers and the Talocan used. Perhaps the remnants of their civilizations included us.

Who knows if there were civilizations here before them. Perhaps the Talocan asked themselves the same questions we're now asking ourselves.
