This forum seems to be the best place for scanning questions, given there isn't an Exploration forum.

This isn't meant to be another whine thread; what's done is done. But I'm still having trouble adjusting to the changes. I keep trying to figure it out and giving up in frustration. I used to feel I had this stuff down cold, but I just can't seem to get the hang of the new system.

1) How do I move probes individually? I can't seem to break them out of the pattern and move them one by one.

2) Is there an actual useful way to use the pattern? I can move the center of it where I want, and if I mouse over one of the outer ring of probes until it kind of lights up, I can click and drag to make the pattern bigger or smaller, but the spacing is always ****** up, and I can't seem to get the overlap I need.

3) How do I stop the anomalies from showing up in the scan results? They seem to be there no matter what filters I select.

What am I doing wrong? Somebody help me out here, please. This is driving me crazy.

Press and hold shift. You can now move them one by one. Release shift to return to group mode.

I am going to interperate this as, "how do i make the middle probe diameter one size smaller than the others.

Again. Hold shift down and you can resize one. Release shift and it should snap back to group mode so you can move the whole thing around.

There is a button on your scanner window, just to the right of the filters dropdown that says "Show Anomalies". Unchecking that box will make the anoms disappear until that button is repressed.

Why would you want to move and change probes size individually anyway?

To change the distance the probes are from eachother hold ctrl and shift and resize the formation how you want.
