my crazy ideas

a radar class ship that fits a modal like a scan probe launcher that opens a round interface in the middle of the screen and displays a radar with ships showing up as red blips and probes showing up as red circle blips and a radar range of 0-20 au.
this idea is mainly for wormhole pilots they can keep this puppy open and looking for probes or ships without having to spam ship scanner every 30 secs the blips should detect warping ships and give you just enough time to fight or flight and plenty of time to see those nasty probes. plus give birth to new exciting direction for fleet warfare

new deployable speciality ships and deployable objects.

ship designed for deploying objects like cans bubbles pos and some new idea iv listed below
1. 15km stealth field bubble with destroyable control unit inside (so players can set up ambushes and be creative)
2. 15km mini pos with destroyable shield/ control unit and 5000m2 cargo hold (so players can set up camps in nullsec/wormholes)
3. destroyable mini ore depot with 100,000m3 ore hold and 2000 cargo hold (for crystals) for the professional miner.
4. space mines, em that stun ships or explosive mines medium large and extra large (good for protecting pos, gates stations sovereignty units and safe spots and make them hurt.. ALOT

a new specialty anti stealth ship frig/cruiser counterparts of the interdictors, that use a module that pings a 20k area and de-cloaks
stealth ships/possibly stealth objects, this ship could be useful in small scale fleet combat or used at gate camps to catch them sneaky cloaked haulers.

harder anomalies, random rare spawns of nullsec ore in highec, eve radio with a dj special guests and requests,

iv linked this next part other times but here it is again...

ship classes are out of wack, so change the ship class names to fit them
frigate becomes patrol boat
destroyers become picket ships (a small blockade ship)
cruisers become frigates
battle cruisers become destroyers
battleships become cruisers
add need ships to fit the roll of battle cruiser
add new ships for battleships the same size as carriers with a mixture of large and x large guns and can cyno jump
carrier stops being a capital ship and is now able to enter empire and can use gates
still a capital dreads become specialty class structure attack ships with a new capital interdictor tier 2, able to activate gravity well generator that prevents warp and pulls nearby warping ships into the field bubble range 50km, warp gravitation field 5 au.
super carriers- nothing changes
new capital battleship same size as super carriers similar to the new battleship class except with a new future of duel high slots able to tab between 2 decks of weapons large or extra large and a tier 2 capital commad ships
rename all tech 2 ship classes to bring them inline with the new ship class alignment
add capital freeway gate system leading to all know trade hubs so players can jump jita to Amar in 2 capital jumps at the expanse of isk and capital freeway jump gates leading to 4 major low sec exits into 0.0 for each region

my last idea for this post is this

increase the cpu need for warp disrupters warp scramblers and stasis webbers similar to that of the covert ops cloak so only role specific ships can warp scram/disrupt or web.

this is to stop any old noob slapping on a scram and flying into combat. fleet warfare will need to be more organised with role specific ships and lowsec will be a lot more open to newer players if the chance for guaranteed gank is reduced, pirate and gank fleets have it to easy lets make them work for it a bit harder

Use the forum search. "plenty of time to see those nasty probes" - there is no such thing as "plenty of X" in EVE.

Wow, so you want CCP to redo all the ships and add new ones? Wow... and incredibly bad ideas. bwhahahahahaha

So you want to make it harder for new pilots to be useful? Lol, why? Also, why only scrams and webs? What about the other EWAR mods? Seems to me this is just you raging for being scrammed by a lil` frigate.

I like my ideas, all the new patches and updates just fix things ccp screws up while trying to make the game look pretty
they need to add more ships and content rather then just give the update a cool sounding name name add random one off ship that will just become expansive and impractical.
in fact its players like you that don't want any change or shoot down ideas that change the way you play your close minded little style that get in the way of any progress

and yes I would have ccp change the who system of ship class because frigates are too small. in scifi and in real life a frigate would be larger, the frig in eve are closer to the size of a patrol boat

tech 2, 3 and specialty ships are impractical unless you are a care bear sitting in empire because of the excessive cost
so adding more tech 1 ships or tier 2/3 ships would give players more options and less expanse

I don't need to search anything I came up with these idea's on my own even if they have been said before as long as I get them out there I am not hurting anyone and to be honest I don't really care what you think. I am pointing my ideas at ccp

So as a little tip in the future I wish to give you.

CCP doesn't make a change someone suggest on these forums unless you have 90% of the community (Even those that don't post on the forum.) backing the idea. So before you tell the community to go *Input curse word here* themselves remember that the only way to get your idea read is to have the backing of a community, and do people love shooting down someone that can't handle a little criticism. So here my vote.

-1 for poor ideas

-1 for the failer to use search to see how receptive people are of similar ideas.

Came to this thread to see a terribad idea get masterfully shot down, left absolutely satisfied. DataRunner hit the nail on the head. And of course you like your ideas, they're your ideas! But the only way you're going to get backing is if you can get everyone behind you. I think that you should be able to self-destruct and deal MASSIVE damage to everyone and everything around you, doesn't mean it's going to get implemented because I like this idea.

CCP Falcon:  This thread is terrible.

Please return to WoW, Halo, CoD or [insert whatever illiterate franchise you grew up on] and maybe pay attention to what others have posted here in F&I. No gives a **** if the Dali Llama came up with the ideas, bad ideas will still be bad regardless of who came up with them.

You can already do this. It's called a Covert Ops Cloak. Allowing non-covert configured ships to cloak requires drawbacks (that are already in place through the modules themselves); they should not enable your sniper fleet to sit off gates at 200km cloaked without suffering the penalties. Nope. -1

Enormous Freight Containers can already hold 250000 cubic meters. And can be deployed in space..and destroyed.. seriously, is this a troll?

They did this already. It was abused and unbalanced to the point that CCP could do naught but remove them. So.. lastly, nope. -1

They don't necessarily need to add new ships. Some more interesting content for those that do PvE, I can see but your ideas sucked. I'm not saying they don't need new things, just not the new things you're proposing.

You misunderstand. It's not that we don't want change. It's just that we don't want really dumb, pointless or impractical change.

Shows how much you know. Tech 2 and 3 ships are used all the time in low sec and null sec. The "specialty" ships (I assume you mean navy and pirate?) are also used a lot in null sec.

Yeah, that's a rather popular misconception, actually. CCP don't actually pay attention to every thread. Just because you put your ideas into the F&I forum it doesn't mean CCP will look at it, respond to it or pay it the slightest mind whatsoever. From experience they tend to pay attention to good ideas that have been thrashed through by the community until no one can find fault with it any more. So you see, very little of what's discussed in F&I actually sees itself into the game. There are the odd things that are just such good ideas that they do. Yours won't be though. Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings.
