You're right. It would be best if no-one mentions that some of the posters in this thread are firm supporters of API min.. errr ... checking when it come to auditing public borrowers. He might think that I ... I mean we ... have some sort of agenda. And for god's sake no-one mention Bobby's connection to the audit fund or we might tip the OP over the edge!

I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm certainly not looking for a loan, but I would expect if I requested one to turn over a financial API in that circumstance, even if they decided to mine that data. That clearly is a sensible use of API financials, however, loans are not an in game feature, or CCP could create contracts for them which would be generally far more secure for everyone involved and, likely, eliminate most need for auditing potential borrowers' API's.

7 pages of people trying to convince someone too stupid to realise his own stupidity that he is wrong.

My only wish is that I could say threads like this are rare Cry

The only merit is that you somehow scrambled together the mental agility to use an alt to post this thread so if you did ever change your mind on APIs (and someone actually wanted to recruit you) you may be able to join a corp in the future.

He says that only proves we are all in on it!!

And its true, there were a convention, and we all decided to do it together.

I think the OP finally figured us out, nothing is safe anymore...hide your daugthers, hide your api's...

Let me get this straight:

a1) You are willing to give out your financial API to an auditor you don’t know and whose status as a trustworthy individual is determined by the respect in which they are held by the regular posters on MD.

a2) You won’t trust the recruiting officer of a corp you want to join with your financial API, despite opting to associate with that corp and its members voluntarily and the recruiting officer being assigned a trustworthy status by the group you actively wish to join.

b1) You will trust the MD auditor with your financial data despite the fact that they will explicitly be deeply interested in the markets and businesses of eve.

b2) You will not trust the corp recruiter because he might secretly be interested in the markets.

c1) You have rejected the comments of posters in this thread as coming from an untrustworthy cabal who have an interest in perpetuating data-mining from the API.

c2) You will trust an MD auditor whose status is derived in significant part from the fact that they are vouched for by some of the people in this thread whose advice you have rejected.

Do you not see some inconsistency in these positions?

That's just for the neophytes. The real meeting is at midnight (obviously), inside the owl, and we will all be skyclad.

RF cannot be trusted.

It has been discovered that RF and BF are double agents, possibly triple, our algorithm only goes to two factors.

I think he meant Radio Frequency.

But I can confirm that RF/BF is a Hydra side project who's purpose is to log the contents of all your packages, their origin/destination, and ruthlessly exploit it.
