I'll be frank: you may count me on the side of those who think that women's fashion designers suffer from chronical misogyny (and have a sick sense of humor), but sometimes some news just are over the top... or below it.

Q: Can a top model have too much bossom?

Apparently yes. And how much is "too much"? A UK size 32A.

Meet the infortunate Jourdan Dunn and Dior's strange concept on how should a woman look... or rather don't:

Way to lower the "bra"... Roll

32A? That's not a pair of boobs, it's 2 aspirin on an ironing board (no offence ladies but an A cup is rather small). And they wonder why women think they're fat, when they're actually normal.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Lol I can't tell without using a "hands on" approach to measurement, although I think that catwalk models in general are at an extreme end of the spectrum when it comes to normal body size, to me they look like they're suffering from starvation. The fashion industry is a major contributor to the problems women have with body image, what they class as a plus size model is actually pretty close to normal.

With women. Many are out of touch with women. Roll

I can almost figure the Dior designer: "Aieee! What ARE those HUMPS on my preshious dress??" "They're boobs, Fan-Fan" "Boooobs!? Who's the terrorist saboteur anarchist scoundrel who sent me a model with boobs!!??"

reading that was pretty sad. i used to be really into reading style and fashion magazines at one point. but i stopped some time ago. it's just disgusting how we're made to think that you simply must fit into this body type or you are just always going to be less of a person than someone that does. somehow inferior. substandard. it's bullshit really.

Fashion is a wicked industry. It punishes you for being standard (i.e. not in the appearence canon) and rewards you for being standard (i.e. consume what you're told to).

It's like: "Congratulations for buying that item of clothing, but f*** you for not fitting perfectly into it"

The result is unsatisfaction that must be compensated spending more money in further attempts of feeling satisfied... which is the whole point of the industry, along with change for the sake of change.

The funny thing is, I have talked to very very few male friends that look at women, that look like the ones that work typical runway shows, and go that is what I like. So I give much credence to the concept that most of the designers, male ones at least, would rather see skinny young males working the runway instead. Plus, if you watch TV at all, the most popular bra line has much much much more voluptuous and curvaceous models.

EDIT: Plus women do not wear the 'cloths' (<-- spelling intended) they put on these run way 'models' around my neck of the woods.
