Concord and Anomalies

I'm trying to sift through tons of information and cant seem to get a consistent answer.

I'm looking at exploration and some people tell me to be careful when exploring because even in high sec areas I can still be attacked and Concord will not come to save me.

Is this true? Some places I read lean towards that, others say that Concord always beats down in High Sec.

Does the same go for people that are mining in Ice anomalies?

Thanks,

CONCORD will always respond in systems 0.5 or greater with varying response times. This does not matter exactly where you are in said hi-sec space. (This includes D.E.D plexs, mission deadspace, "ice anomalies" and exploration anomalies)

CONCORD will not nessesarily arrive in time to save your sorry ass regardless. This is called "suicide ganking"

CONCORD will not show up to intervene on behalf of:
- a Suspect (flashy orange)
- anyone in a legal limited engagement (flashy green), e.g. as a result of killright being activated
- an Outlaw (flashy red)
- Blue-on-blue violence (intra-corp or fleet violence)
- Duelling participants

You just got one thing wrong there. Concord WILL nuke you for attacking a fleet member who is not part of your corp.

For reals? I always thought once you were in fleet you were free game for purple on purple action. Good thing I never acted on my desire to blow up a friendly NPC-corp alt for ***** and giggles haha

"Concord will not come to save me."

That is true. Concord never comes to save people as they respond after the aggression has started.

Think of them like real life police... you call police because your being robbed... if you live in rich people area cops get their quick... live in the ghetto.. good luck.

You will not be saved by the holy ghost.
You will not be saved by the god Plutonium.
You will not be saved by CONCORD.
In fact, YOU WILL NOT BE SAVED

CONCORD take 19 seconds to respond to unlawful violence in 0.5 systems, IIRC. That's plenty of time to violence your boat, unless you take basic precautions.

When seconds count the police are minutes away.
