I guess he doesn't assume this to have any actual impact.

This movement seems to be hard to grasp for some. They don't care about stats, profit or how bad they may look in the forums or in a kill....

thats exactly what we do :D and its fun! I'm killing cyno-ships at the moment infront of VFK and people are fuming, telling me this makes no sense, however I love it :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dfQMkH1Id8

I'm the forerunner of a new plague coming to null sec, like lucusts we will graze... too much they just do what others are doing, not finding their own way

but still not all are the same, I also get positive feedback from some in null sec, those who still have fun doing some crazy stuff - and not sticking to false paradigmen like my friend Herzog Wolfhammer would say

I don't think you get my point... If the best he can do is kill a few cyno ships, what possible impact is this high sec invasion of VFK going to have? This is being marketed as some huge event comparable to burn Jita, but really, it's a bunch of high sec guys going to throw away isk in VFK, saving goons the trip to high sec. Barely anyone will even realise it happened, so it can't be for some lasting memory. Even goons won't be there. Everyone is deployed.
Please by all means explain the outcome you expect from this. In honesty it looks to me like a guy who wants to scam a bunch of newbies into giving him stuff them heading to null to die for lolz. I wouldn't even be surprised if this Harry guy is a goon alt.

To be fair, harry is a 4 month newbie and I was certainly not doing solo pvp in nullsec when I was this young in the game.

A cyno ship today, a titan tomorrow. Great things have small beginnings.

Lucas did his reasearch not properly, because if he did, he would find out that I'm just ca. 3 month in space, the whole journey started some weeks ago visible here with all details https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=249927

they cyno-ship thing is basically somekind of training ground for me while I'm waiting for my bomber kills to train up... I was able to achieve a lot since i started with nice help from some people like Herzog Wolfhammer, Khergit Deserted, Aidan, Alt Shi and many others

there is no need for me to kill the biggest ship in VFK right now, because it is impossible without the skills and the short time I was able to prepare for it, however there are a lot of things I can do without timely restrictions in the game, Goons Doomsday is one of them

the big ship will go down and fleets will pop, people just need to be a bit patient Bear

making new friends

yesterday we teamed up with some russians, having an interpreter in our squad surely did help for that, convo was short and fleeting up not a big issue, and guess what, we did not even shoot eachother, seems some still understand how this game needs to be played...

another thing came to my mind when checking the russians killboard, beside bringing dow an obelisk in VFK on 2013-07-09 those guys like to shoot, now listen closely, yea cyno-ships while waiting :D

so what? Even if Harry's a goon alt, he should be lauded when he's getting HS bears to venture into Nullspace. It's a game after all, so it doesn't necessarily have to have any impact at all. It's impact enough when these guys get a motivation to leave their comfort zone and to venture out.

if he brings people (and if it's only a single one) to do something they'd never dared without his input...

then it's a win. whether he's a Goon or not.

Yeah, but to be fair, he's not doing solo null sec PVP either. And I doubt he will. Onoes! hes training bomber skills, look out!

At the end of the day this is just a way for this Harry guy to stroke his ego by making a big fuss over absolutely nothing. I can't wait for the 28th to roll by, absolutely nothing to happen, then this douche can go back to crying in high sec.

Dunno why there is so much crap in this topic.
He is doing this because he thinks its fun I assume. And in all honesty I think it would be interesting for alot of new players in highsec who are interested in fleet operations in nullsec with inexpensive ships that they dont care about.
If they are wiped, the event is over but hopefully everyone in it had fun.

I do hope for everyone's sake that CFC won't totally crush them because it might demotivate alot of players.
Though, I am pretty sure alot of new players would love to have a glimpse of a real titan, super-capital, or a carrier because
they don't get to see such ships in highsec. Even I haven't seen one yet in EVE and thinking about it would make it a interesting experience nonetheless.

However, I have other plans that day so I will hopefully (if the event turnout is good) be able to read about it on the EVE-News sites.
