Blood Raider Covenant beginning mass cloning of ship crews ?

Gutter Press recently came into possession of some technical information, revealing a Blood Raider scientific research program, aimed at mass-cloning of ship crews!

Horrifying!

The technology involves cultivating functional clone bodies en masse, using ancient Takmahl technologies, found in the ruins of Araz constellation!

Archaic!

The Blood Raider scientists then use stored brain scans, to animate the cloned bodies, giving them false personalities and memories by subtle alterations in the stored scans!

Doppelgänger!

These replacement ship crews are then pressed into service aboard the Blood Raider terror ships, that are a menace to shipping across the cluster!

Fearsome!

We were able to get a comment from one of the scientific directors of this project, who had this to say:
"My brilliant research is unsurpassed, it will probably make my name live beyond eternity"

We asked some Amarr people what they thought of this, disturbing, development:
"Conjuring monstrous legions of soulless abominations, using techno-heresy? Well, that's just great", said one Amarr militiaman.
"This is insane! They could replace a years losses in a day!" said one concerned Navy veteran.
"This. This is why there can be no peace, no forgiveness, as long as a single heretic draws breath", said a Cardinal.
"The Federation harbours and protects some of these heretics. Perhaps they should reconsider that", said a Crusade pilot.

Rumours, Wars, Rumours of Wars, Wars of Rumours!

Beginning? Wait, what? Sweetie, hasn't this been, you know...? Oh! On the DL, right, right!

The Takmahl civilization makes no sense to me.

They split from the ancient Amarr, developed technologies to rival our own, and then collapsed. How does a society that had access to mass cloning facilities die-out? There's no evidence they went Jovian and their spirit rotted away. If they could mass clone humans, they probably had facilities to mass produce staple foods. There's nothing to suggest they were conquered.

The basis of their social order was that of the Amarr, which history has shown to be quite stable.

Ah, the Gutter Press, sometimes a mildly (very mildly) entertaining rag.

I'm waiting for this rumored 'Bat Boy' to show up as a Nation capsuleer, myself.

Aww, I told them to take out the "probably".

They were heretics. Probably someone started a schism, because you know, heretics are like that. 2 heretics go into a room, 3 new heresies come out, etc.

So they probably killed enough of each other, that no one was left to do stuff with the things, and they all died out.

Internal strife does seem likely. I agree.

The Takmahl people were cruelly backstabbed by an Imperial Navy admiral, who took advantage of the chaos of the Moral Reforms following the Mad Emperor, to unleash a few virus bombs and the like when no-one was looking.

Yet another atrocity by the twisted minions of the Theology Council, against those of Righteous and True Belief.

Replace all references of "Blood Raider" with "Sansha's Nation" and it suddenly becomes strangely believable.

The valuation of human life becomes significantly different when the biology and personality of a human can be perfectly and flawlessly duplicated. A yawning ethical quagmire opens up beneath your feet - who has more right to live, the original or the copies? Do copies innately have less value? Can a copy of you with the same memories be genuinely considered to have experienced the same memories you did, or are they just echoes of your past experiences? Does creating copies of a unique object dilute the value and appeal of the original?

The Takmahl may quite well have been a post-singularity society that ate itself due to giving the wrong answers to these questions.

They used their mass cloning methods to make slaves and sacrifices for their blasphemous rituals.

They valued a human life at nothing. They were entirely and completely expendable.

That's why the Takmahl died, that's why mass cloning is a tool of the Deceiver, that's why any of their surviving relics, and anyone using such devices, must be eradicated.

Why don't you go and join the Blood Raiders about it then ? Modern day Takmahl, that lot.

The Blood Raiders would at least provide a standard of conversation where the same baseless accusation is not repeated ad infinitum.

My Design incorporates some Takmahl Objects.

All have the Same right to Life, assuming they behave Righteously. It is Written.
Copies of a Person do not have any Less Value than an Original Person, assuming they behave Righteously.
That is an Odd Question. The Specific Individual was Not Present during the Experiences, but has Full Memories of the Experiences as a Participant. They Cannot be considered to have Experienced the Events, but their Account of what the Experience was Like should be considered Accurate.
Creating copies would not dilute the value of the Original, as the Copied Individuals would diverge and become Different over time, relating to their experiences. This would make their values and appeal Different.

The Takmahl artifacts are Worthy of Study, because they may yet Reveal more Interesting Insights, that would allow People to act Righteously, thus Benefiting All People. It is Written.

Which Accusation is it ? Does it Relate to the Incident at one of Lady Vitalia's Parties where you offered Support to Blood Raider Captain Asias Urazmie ? Or is it a Different Accusation ?

You continue to lie, claiming you did not offer aid to the Blood raiders.

If such an accusation was false, it wouldn't provoke you this easily.

And you were also fibbing when you said:

Well, you're blocked.

Clearly, since you are still raging at being called out for being a blood raider sympathiser, you did not do any such thing.

You're a Blood Raider sympathiser, therefore you have no moral high ground at all.
