Help ...Plex and my expired alt

So you did something wrong, and you expect CCP to, what? Give you another PLEX? ISK? A dummy?

People have had to continually explain the matter to you, and now you've (finally) realised you were wrong from the off, you're trying to cover it up by saying "Clearly I wouldn't have opted for dual training on an account that expired in 4 hours if I was not under the impression it came with 30 days of game time. "

If the dual-option was a free bonus, why the heck would it be an option? Who in their right mind would *refuse* free dual training?

The fact you got your PLEX last time means you must've somehow weasled your way around the GM. Don't expect it to happen twice, and certainly don't come on here complaining about a "fault" when the only fault is yours.

Happy I got the 30 days on that account but it was a low skill alt.

A shame CCP and I both lose here.
So add the 2nd PLEX you would have to spend anyway instead of whine quitting?

You can activate Hours for PLEX for the account, and get 4 free hours in which you can apply a PLEX for GAMETIME.

This argument swings both ways for anyone with common sense. Why the hell would would CCP even give you the option of adding a PLEX as gametime, if the Dual Training gave both dual training AND Gametime for 1 PLEX?

The problem is that yes you end up with two toons in one account but you can not use them together (eg. one pilot rats and the second salvages), so you have to log out and back in. But yes, you get one plex less per month, which actually is a big deal.

A combo that would work well I would imagine to be a main toon + Indy or hauler out even PI.

Yeah forms are for learning (information) I realized I was wrong after 3 posts. I even asked what i was doing wrong. I didn't argue or insist I was righteous and holly. I received good feedback and took it as it came. See you under the bridge.

My reasoning for thinking the dual training is a bonus.... 14.95 = 1 month game time 19.99 = PLEX so 5 dollars more for dual training. but again Yes I get it I was wrong. it was so compounded by a previous petition that fixed my mistake.


Im not wining over it... Just getting information, explaining what happened. I wouldn't quit if I had the cash or the isk to get a plex. They wont give me back hours for plex at this point so I cant add a plex if I had the isk. I like this game a lot. I guess next time I will not assume (“ASS” out of “U” and “ME”.) Smile

Both 'add gametime' and' add dual training', came up when you right-clicked the 19.99 PLEX, no? Blink

Not that I don't believe that you are confused, I'm just saying it's rather obvious you are at fault here and coming back and saying "oh well, so long EVE" over something like this, when you already got a free month of training last month, makes you come off as a whiny, sorry.

Just add the 2nd PLEX, or re-sub with your credit card. You got your "free" month the last time. Nothing lost.

I asked for a reconsideration from GM Bjorn. They deleted my Dual training and added the PLEX as 30 days. I am happy I can play now.

Yeah I did come across like a whiny little *****. I had a snickers bar and all is good now. I never meant to imply CCP was at fault here. I really did think the plex did not inject and dual training was a bonus for using a plex. Freakin out that I was going to have to wait a long time to play. Then finding out I was SOL. I should have read the options that where presented and not made any assumptions.

Thank you for all of the help and reality checks.
