Wow, this is a surprisingly easy way to make isk, provided you're up to keeping an eye on your orders and undercutting someone by a few cents to get the sale.

I agree. My trading capital was 2.5 bil in July, 10 bil a month ago and over 16 bil now. Cool

Sometimes if something looks too good to be true - it really can be true. Shocked

Yes. if there aren't too many people trying to get their slice of the cake. Blink

Depends on the type of trading, too.

Trading is PvP.

90% of of the time my posts are about something I actually find interesting and want to learn more about. Do not be alarmed.

Making some money trading is easy. Done it as long as I played.

But really making serious money is not. Orders expire unfilled because you don't update the price every 10 minutes, you sit on a huge stack of something that looked good and totally crashed - having to choose to sell below your own cost and play again, or wait for a magical price hike.

Usually I can extract a little money from the market (enough to fund my habit of losing ships to being stupid), but nowhere near the billions floating around here.

Really? I found it quite easy to scale up as I trained for more order slots and grew my capital available for trading. ROI drops for sure. When I started with 200 - 300 Million it was easy to triple or quadruple that amount every month. I make more like 10% of my invested isk a month these days. But that's significantly higher income than I got from the high maintenance fast turnover trading I did when I started and it's much less demanding.
