so im nearing then end of training to fly both the gal logi and the mini logi and was wondering how to fit them for

PvP

and

Incursions

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Oneiros - Don't bother with it. Its reliance on drones is a big liability, especially when your fleetmates are depending on you. If your corp runs a lot of armor Logi gangs its worth training for a Guardian.

Scimitar - This depends on your Logi skill level. At Logi 5 there are a few fits that are cap stable with everything, including MWD. I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll be sure to post my old corp's standard Scimitar fit.

The Scimi is good if you are the only logi- but the Basilisk is a much better ship if there are two of you.

Alright, this fit will look really whacky, but its awesome, cap stable with all mods.

This is only cap stable with Logi 5. I would greatly encourage training it up, especially if your corp runs a lot of gangs that rely on Logi.

I call bull puckey on this response.

Oneiros' are perfectly acceptable as logistical ships, at least for incursions. I have heard someone say that they aren't accepted in PvP for whatever reason. Neuting maybe?

Anyway, to the fit:

4x Large 'Solace' reppers

2x Tracking Links (or more if you can fit them and remain cap stable)
Rest of mids are likely cap rechargers to be cap stable

800mm plate
Plug resist holes with a couple of energized plating mods of some sort

2x remote repair augmentor rigs (or ancillary current routers if you want to fit 1600mm plate to be less squishy)

5x repper drones

Logi ships will always be better with Logi V and the repper skills to V also.

Sorry I failed to specify, all of my advice is strictly PVP oriented. All of the flying I currently do is low sec - small gang type stuff, though I have good experience in gangs of ~50 ships. With GCC and gate/station mechanics the way they are, relying on drones is a big no-no because they are so liable to be shot by sentries. Neuting isn't so much a problem because competent Logi pilots will be well out of range unless you are flying against Curses (some gate fights might see Logi pilots getting neuted).

Although, doing some EFT work, the Oneiros isn't nearly as bad as I remembered, for PVE stuff at least. For PVP armor gangs I would still recommend the Guardian for its cap transfers. Most armor gangs that are big (and slow) enough to merit a Logistics ship with use at least 2, which is when you just go with a Guardian. The shield fleets in small gang warfare can get away with 1 Logi though (Scimitar) because of the quicker nature of shield/gank BC's.

This is my incurtion fit. the faction stuff isnt too expensive and it makes getting into a fleet a little easier ("ooo shiney lets pick him compared to the 5 other scimi's that look exactly the same") if you have the isk trade up to ACRII's and fit T2 transporters

Pretty standard, the trick is the MWD, personally i dont like it and if possible id fit a afterburner but its needed in most fleets even if it causes you to lose a transporter. Pulse the mwd and everything is gravy. missile launcher for kill mailness (fof is best SHOOT EVERYTHING Twisted ) no thinking required enemy gets in range pull trigger and get back to staying alive and keeping your mates alive.

No Worries

One more thing -- in case you didn't know, the Oneiros is changing with the winter expansion. It's losing one medium slot, gaining a low slot, and gaining some power grid.
