Corpses can bring potentially great profits. Hence why I always scoop them and store them away for the future.

If we REALLY want to have fun with the corpses....

let us impale them on our ships.

I can imagine that certain faction ships like the Sansha ships, bristling with those ... knives... would be ideal for this, but even a simple Incursus could suffice.

I would bet that most of the ship models have a protrusion or antenna that would allow for at least one corpse.

Would it not be great to do so? Even so having the corpse appearing on the overview so that when you impale the corpse on your ship, people will see "Billy Bob's Incursus" and moving along with it "Billy Joe Bob's frozen corpse" ?

We should even hope for a second option on a right-click menu for a corpse. Not just scoop to cargo hold, but maybe also "Impale on Ship" or maybe even "impale loser on ship for all to see".

(OK that's a little harsh)

But still, it would be just perfect if a corpse or two (or a dozen if you fly a nightmare) could be impaled on a ship.

I want to start collecting corpses.
I have no real reason, I just want to.

I would like to collect in bulk, as in thousands.
I currently find it very inefficient to wait around to find one at a time.

Any ideas on how I might improve my harvest?

I has CCP BlueScreens Corpse contact me via ingame mail or convo me if you are interested

Corpse launcher, best launcher

Designed for long engagements between rival corporations, factions or alliances. Slow firing rate but makes up for it with its primary affects on target ship maneuverability and secondary effects on enemy pilot morale.

Must fit corpses: male or female

Optimal Range: 5,600m
Accuracy Falloff: 2,200m
Rate of Fire: 12s
CPU Usage: 39tf
Powergrid Usage: 189MW
Tracking speed: 0.03 rad/s
Activation cost: 6.45 energy
Can only fit: One, Launcher slot
Pre-requisite skill: Bomb Deployment I

Primary Effects:
Cumulative -2% maneuverability and -2% speed effect on target ship, as each corpse sticks to the ship for 1 minute

Secondary Effects:
'Excellent hits' result in corpses face smacking pilots viewscreen with an (oft described) bug-smashing-on-lexan sound, temporarily obscuring the starfield and camera view (but not overlay and modules). 'Wrecking' hits additionally result in viscous fluid smears, as corpse slowly peels off.

Tertiary Effect:
Excellent or Wrecking hit on a pilots ship with one of his own corpses causes his EJECT cycle to auto-initiate. Pilot can however cancel it.

I have around 400 or so sat around from my old lowsec days. Im waiting to be able to do something with them like salvage implants or something interesting.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

What's the expiration time after time of death for a frozen corpse? Useful to know if one wanted to make a delicious casserole.

This thread is getting a little morbid....

4BOB also has a morgue in our home system. However, we only admit patients who we, ourselves, treated.
Scooping other people's corpses is bad karma.

Wait for a Pipebombing tour and follow around in a hauler. A good evening's work should result in several clusters of a few hundred corpses each, all tightly bundled for your scooping ease.

. . .

is it a launcher or a turret??

MAKE UP YOUR MIND

anyway, I'd like to be able to 'rebuild' a corpse and bring it back to life, but have it chained up in my CQ.
