Might sound funny to some of ya, but i actually tested it on test server like a week ago with a Phoenix..
I couldnt find any info about what happens when you use non Capital guns on dread sized ships so i experimented with a cruise missile Dread xD
Well i can say i wasnt so suprised to see that the gun/launcher mounts were not positioned on the spots where they were ment to be.
And also siege did not affect the damage output for the regular cruises..
Imagine a Phoenix with 3 cruise missile launchers, when in T1 siege it gets 730% bonus dmg.. It would translate to like 21 cruise launchers for blapin subcaps and crap like that..


Well keep on dreaming..
Went less than spectacular with me dieing in a fire as i expected it would...

Seriously, if CCP were to get off their arses and get around to custom ship skins, they could make bank on product placement ads.

Just imagine how much they could charge Skittles for an 8 gun high-sec Revelation painted in a Skittles wrapper skin to sit outside of the Jita undock and shoot rainbow lasers at the monument while spamming local with URLs to deals for Skittles candy and Skittles Ship Skins.

Unsure if this is a joke, a troll, or you're just a bit off. Either way if they ever start putting real life ads inside the game I am out. Thousands if not tens of thousands of subscribers would follow. Incarna-gate pt 2.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh... I just tied the OP's rainbow Revelation to the hiring of CCP That EA Guy with custom skins that everyone wants but which implies micro-transactions (aka Aurum) with a joke that isn't a joke (i.e it's funny but scary because it could happen.)

If only I could have worked in a link to the Fearless magazine...


edit: Recognition for Kuga who tied in the Skittles "taste the rainbow" component, which I then ran with. (Community is important.)
