EVE Client does not load up after starting it

I too am experiencing a similar problem.
My screen in the game is totally black.
Yet, the mouse appears to work correctly. It finds the various fields and is able to select them and enter data.
So, I'm actually able to log into the game and get in game even, without a single thing showing on the screen.
as you move the mouse around it changes correctly as you mouse over the interface elements. But, it does not display anything, just black.

I have deleted the config file inside application support.
I removed the install, including all the files in application support and in cache in the Library.
I repaired permissions, and reinstalled the full client.

Same result.

Futile: when you try different things and get the same result.

I got the crash again it happened right in the middle of a fleet and I almost lost a Hurricane, thankfully I wasn't inside a bubble when i logged in. Pure luck.

What i find annoying is that I have to keep creating EVE client clones every day to resolve around this, its been 4 weeks and still no bug report reply and no dev reply on forums.

I think I give up with Mac Client.

I do realize that I have the complete same problem as you. EVE still runs but the entire screen freezes up. Put through a bug report please and try get this fixed because I've gotten no reply for 4 weeks and still no reply.

I have a support request in, and have had for a week now. No response.
Unlike you, I have not been able to get a working client, and I don't at present have access to any windows machines.
Such an interesting game too.

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=252865&find=unread - This is how to fix it and not lose your folders all the time, however you will still keep on getting client freeze ups; you just need to keep moving to different clones.

However, I believe the corruption is within the Liberty folders in the 'Local settings'. My Corrupted clone's folder is double the size of the non-corrupted client's folder, and it takes longer to duplicate. I don't believe I can fix it, this possibly requires a patch.

I really do wish CCP's support was much better than this.
