I will be eve mailing all the captains as well as making a post in here tomorrow morning.

Also, the event will not be streamed. This is purely a test of the tournament tools, streaming the event takes a lot more equipment and volunteers to operate.

Really ? That's quite disappointing, I was looking forward to spend Saturday night watching my favourite e-sport. No chance of hooking up one computer with tournament tool to Twitch.tv account or something, even without the commentary and all the other bells and whistles ?

Would there be a chance of allowing (cloaked) spectators in the tournament arena ? Heck, I would be even willing to write up live match reports for eve-o forums, if given that chance .. Cool

We might be able to allow some people to kind of follow the matches live through special *thing* we are doing for this years tournament. I have to clear it with CCP Veritas first though, lest he cut me with a prison shiv.

Here is the bracket for today's tournament. We will attempt to get as deep into the bracket as possible, but as you can see it is a lot of matches. We will be playing on duality, so having your team members and fleet compositions ready ahead of time would be much appreciated.

Big thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to help test everything, I hope you all had fun.

We ended it after the winners bracket finals, with HYDRA heading to the finals and HUN and Exodus. about to meet in the last match of the losers bracket. Congrats to everyone involved.

People were free to stream the matches themselves, however we did not record the video directly.

We will however have full write-ups of most of the matches (those that didn't blow up our code) exposed relatively soon depending on CCP Veritas's progress with some special stuff coming in AT XI.

That was funny when i had to find other 7 man in the 2nd match against hydra becouse everyone went sleeping.... We were fitting fast as we could but fozzie cant wait i even forget to put mwd on my rattle :) And 2 of my guys didnt bringt ammo with them ^^.

And sorry for bailing, but after 2nd match it was 2 am here and all people left me we could bring only maybe 5 mach and thats not test value.

Are you going to make 'stock' website which will show tourney results in more conventional manner? If yes, will it use CREST api as data source?

Will any additional info be available via API (besides per-match bans which are marked with WIP atm)?

Yeah there's a tournament website in the works. Remains to be seen how much of the CREST data will be shown there.
