I have an extremely slow and poor quality internet connection. I will never be able to install Eve from a regular download. The download would take over a week and during that time my internet would drop hundreds of times. Even if the internet stayed on the file would end up with corrupt data.

1. So post a torrent! The website burnbit.com will take any download online and turn it into a torrent. I can do this is a few minutes but I use it only for myself. This would reduce bandwidth usage a ton.

2. Since I cannot download most releases before a new one comes out even my torrent doesn't work. You remove the webseed very quickly. I'd rather download an old version and then have it patched after its installed then have to download the whole thing all over again. So keep the files available. Or other seeders who have downloaded the torrent will be able to provide it to me.

Summary: This takes no coding or resources of any kind. One person creates a burnbit account and adds a download button to for the new download on the website. Done. I download the torrent, along wth 10k other players and mostly we download from each other while eve's servers get a reduced load as a result. Whats more? I get to play the game again.

Seriously this is kind of a no brainer.

Never understood why CCP removed the torrent option from the offline installer page. Don't need it myself, either, but it's something I could easily leave running 24/7
