I think not. But if you deploy an excessive amount you proberly get a warning for littering space.

No limit.

But CCP did decide that 'decorating' gates with a lot of them is definitely a bannable exploit.

There's probably no limit if they're spread out on multiple separate grids, a large number in one spot will get removed if deemed to be causing lag. If there's a a hard limit programmed into the game I haven't heard of anyone hitting it.

An old corp mate once put up a "billboard" 100km off a station undock in letters about 20x12 cans in size, after a few days they started disappearing by the dozen. I was surprised they didn't all get removed at once, but after a week they were mostly gone.

There's also the 'cans in space that aren't touched expire in 30 days' feature, so unless you tend your cans regularly the'll disappear.
