Let me begin by introducing myself;

Been a care-bear in high-sec all my eve career, traded, hauled, ran level 4 missions, dabbled in WH exploration found a few holes but didn't go in, etc etc basic risk averse character. Been on/off sub, away for a couple of months, back a month etc. Basically, I haven't been making much of my EVE experience, and I'm going to change that now.

As such I have diverse group of trained skills, but still a noob. Further, I always liked to help people (believe me or not, up to you) despite being in this cold universe of cutthroat competition. So in order to get reacquainted with EVE, I offer my services;

I will fly logistic support for your mission boat (so you can go all gank, or need that extra shield/cap in a new mission) for "x" amount of missions.

The market:
New toons needing an extra oompf
All gank? No Tank? No problem

The method:
We fleet up, warp us to mission bubble, un-fleet me (up to you, less bounty for you), I orbit you with afterburners on, shield/armor/cap/tracking link/sensor boost you. I will have hobgoblin I/warrior I on to get rid of frigates that come too close, and may or may not salvage wrecks.

The fee:
0.0 ISK (2 million ISK first time fee)*

The location:
high sec, low sec** (currently loitering in Rens)

the load outs:
option 1) Scythe: 3 medium remote shield reps, 1 remote sensor boost, 1 tracking link [requires: none]
option 2) Augoror: 3 medium remote armor reps, 2 medium cap transfer [requires: 1 medium cap transfer back to me]
option 3) Basilisk: 4 large remote shield reps, 2 medium cap transfers [requires: 1 medium cap transfer back to me]***
option 4) Scimitar: 3 large remote shield reps, 1 medium remote shield rep, 2 tracking links [requires: none]***
option 5) To be announced
option 6) To be announced

The catch:
Keep npc aggression off me, Don't blow me up****, I will not rep if there are other players on grid, my safety is on "green", I fly in a basic clone

The fine print:
Real life comes first!
Golden rule - Don't fly what you can't afford to lose
I'm not babysitting you (actually it might be the other way around)
Try me out first in a cheap BS
*2 million ISK first time user fee (to cover my insurance cost) but if toon is < 3 months will waive fee and donations are nice!
**Earn my trust and you play smart, I will fly with you to low sec
***Each session gains you a loyalty point, after 10-20 loyalty points, I start trusting you and I will offer flying option 3 and option 4 loadouts.
****If you afk/disconnect in the middle of the mission, I will run my cap to 25% to keep you alive, after that point I will disengage and warp off

It's all preliminary right now, so convo me up, see if you can help me help you! Or I might get bored and this fizzles out

There's no way to "keep rats off you", if you rep more than a certain amount (compared to what the guys damage is) they WILL prioritise you. You will need local reps of some sort to survive or you have to spider tank with the client.

Oh, is that a recent change? I was always paranoid and fit a damage control with invuln field and a medium shield boost - cap stable with 2 medium shield transfers. Thought my transverse would mitigate the damage (unless that mechanic has changed now too?)

Thanks for the feedback!

As I said, pilot project - use services at your own caution

You might want to check incursions communities - I recommend Warp to Me Incursions and The Valhalla Project - less hassle, more ISK, you'll help 39 pilots at once (in HQ fleet).

Been reading up on incursions again, hence the Logi 5, and will do that too once I get my bearings.

But since I'm just loitering around, playing the 0.01 isk game, waiting to build up some network and connections, help a few new missioners up and running too, etc etc.

Still feeling out the waters for this "dedicated' service to see if there is a need for it, if not off to incursions.

Regardless, thanks for the feedback, keep them coming!

I also have been trying to figure out a way to "try out" logi flying without diving into the deep end. Twice I've found pilots who agreed to fleet with me as logi while they flew the mission. Both times they fell in love with having logi support behind them and I enjoyed the experience. However their online time and mine seldom align so I'm still trying to find pilots to team with.

The attitude appears to be that if they can fly solo, why bother having a logi with them? Yet if they get a chance to go total gank and ignore the self-repairs, they seem to love the experience.

I wish there was a way to encourage lower level PvE (low pressure) logi without going into the deep end with max incursion logi or high stress PvP logi.

Try out vg fleets. They aren't so far in the deep end and you'll get a lot more enjoyment with the fleet atmosphere.

the amount of extra damage i would be getting out of my mission ships if i had a logi: ZERO.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Hey there, thanks for your interest, and once again this is a pilot project so it may or may not fly.
Time of operations will most likely be: 1400-1600 and/or 0200-0400 UTC
But annoying thing called work pops up unexpectedly and repeatedly.
Best bet, add me to your contact and open up a convo with me if I'm online.

Also to note,

I'm going to see if this is viable with a logi + dps combo, or a two dps combo (one of them being me, with arties alpha frigs and nuisance npcs so you can focus on the bigger bounties). Again I'll have to run a couple of missions myself to familiarize myself with the triggers and such - It has been awhile since I last ran missions in Minmatar space.
Or a lol tank drake as an anti-frig platform, or ecm target.

Hey there, thanks for reading my thread,

I agree with you, about the low stress of mission logi flying to test out the waters.

However, I eventually want to bring together a group of like-minded logistics pilot and have that group recognized for being the premier logistic wing in all of high-sec?, low-sec?, null-sec? yeah I dream big...to offer our services to be a force multiplier in any encounter. Ultimately, I want fleets to see this group to be a either a blessing, or a curse depending on who this group is helping.

If there is already a group like this available, then that saves me the work - I'll just go join them.

EDIT: ...too high - I'll settle for being at least known
