Red/Blue overlay with NVIDIA 320 drivers on the 600/700 series GPUs

Quick note: The 320.39 drivers haven't been officially released as beta. People are already reporting framerate boosts in games besides Eve, so I'm definitely not saying they're bad or anything, but with any leaked drivers there's always a slight chance that flames will blast out the side of your computer and ignite things like curtains or cats.

EDIT: Just tried them out and they work just fine at high shader settings. It's not a huge difference but it does look a little nicer, at least from what I've seen so far. And flames have yet to devour my kitteh, so I'd call it a win.

NVIDIA have released their latest beta drivers which can be found here: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-320.49-beta-driver-uk.html

We have confirmed these fix the red/blue overlay; you can download the beta drivers if you wish to use them but please bear in mind that prolonged gameplay on beta drivers is not recommended.

No, it is not fixed. Although this graphics issue disappeared from screen, the icons of ships and drones still have red and blue colors in pictures. So I can't clearly see what object is depicted in it. My system is GTX 670 Windows 8 64-bit.

That's probably due to the game creating and caching the icons while the shader bug was active, try clearing your cache.

Testing in Win8 is good since the bug fix in the nvidia release notes was specifically in the win7 section only, thanks.

I appear to be having a stuttering issue with the 320.49 beta driver, not sure if this is a problem because of the driver or not as my card is brand new and this occurred the very first time I loaded up eve with the new card. My framerate is fine but when running eve my entire system -even the desktop mouse movement- stutters for 1 second at a time every 5 or so seconds making the game unplayable.

8GB ram
gtx 650 ti boost

I'm not sure if it's linked to recent issue but I encountered one more visual defect. Pictures of some stargates is fully yellow (at the top right corner of the screen, small icon).

Hello !

I take this thread because I have another problem involving shaders (sorry for that, if I have to create a new one, tell me !)
I have a strange shadow in the background and this bug appear with all nvidia drivers, except with the 320.18 of course - with those, I had the blue/red fog too.

The latest drivers haven't solve this bug, unfortunately.
I can solve the problem by changing the shaders options to medium quality.

Can you you tell me if this is always an issue for you or if it comes and comes?

Can you also set Anti-Aliasing to disabled and Shader Quality to High and tell me if you still get the issue?

Update Shocked - Tried using the built-in Intel HD 4000, same issue. + Now EVE deos not recognize the NIVIDA driver any longer?

Despite changing settings as recommended here for EVE the issue with red "dots" all over the screen (backgrounds) still occurs.

Just upgraded my machine, really glad I found this support sticky.

Any word if the drivers are out of beta, and if there is a solution to the medium shader-level issue?

I am mad!

Finally I buy a nvidia card so im done with the big white dots also known as stargates and i get eve:vice city,
and i was never a fan of the 80's :(

I mean, if the background was showing some offcoloured purple palmtrees then it be awesome..

Can you be a bit more specific by telling me what EVE does not recognize?

Also the issue in this thread describes a red/blue gradient overlay issue that should be fixed now, I believe you have something else if you are experiencing "red dots".

Can you please file a bug report from in-game and in the bug report title put my name "CCP Vertex" and I will look into this for you.

The drivers are out of beta so if you are running the latest version (327.23) the issue should be fixed.

Can you file a bug report with "CCP Vertex" in the title, include screenshots and a description of the issue and we will do our best to resolve the issue for you.
