I think there is a bug around docking in general, has nothing to do with auto pilot or being minimized. Have you never noticed you try to dock, you even hear it say "Docking Permission Requested" and then nothing happens? I think this is common enough that people are in the habit of pressing D several times. Even Auto-Pilot attempts to dock twice, which indicates CCP is aware of the issue. My guess is that once in a blue moon even the duel docking attempt fails to dock you and you are left hanging in space.


Read closer. Alt tabbing prevents you from docking. If you are running multiple accounts, warp to a station and tab to another screen, you will not dock.
Typical CCP bug.

Funny how everyone who disagrees with you is a 'noob', dearest Bob.

My word, actually wanting people to actively play the game they are supposed to be playing is noobish now. Thats gotta be the dumbest thing I've read all day.

Well, suck on this: even if it isn't a feature, it should be. You shouldn't be able to do anything unless you are actually actively playing the game.
