What do Ammatars fly?

Do they use exclusively Amarr hulls or Minmatar hulls?

Or mix and match to personal taste?

I think it makes more sense if they fly Minmatar hulls, give them more of a "Roman-aligned Barbarians" flavor.

They fly Amarr hulls, but have Minmatar stations.

They also have a unique color scheme (black and gold), but sadly this is so far only seen on Ammatar guns and not on their ships.

black and gold? sweet baby jesus, i want a hull like that.

well, going crazy i could say that they use amarr hulls adapted to shield tank while using proyectiles, or just proyectiles with armor tanking.

There was a joke photo of an 'Ammatar Tempest' made up to form a Tempest built out of Amarrian ship parts a couple years ago, sadly I can't find it at the moment.

Regarding the Ammatar paintjob, it's kind of weird the paintjob was made only for the guns. I suppose the texture was made at some point but wasn't fully implemented?

They actually exist as an empire in the game. You can visit them.

For all intensive purposes, consider them to be Amarr ships flown by people of Minmatar descent. Lasers and all.

Yes, the models and textures for Ammatar ships do exist in the game. However, CCP does not feel that those of us who play Ammatars are worth the effort of spending five minutes of coding that it would take to actually add those ships to our LP stores. Evil

Black and gold, as stated before.

Look up the Ammatar lasers on the market. That's the Ammatar texture.

I really wish CCP would put some more love into the idea of actual dedicated Ammatar ships. Considering how the Khanid Kingdom has their own ship types (and it makes me really jealous) that combine Amarr & Caldari tech, it would be only natural that Ammatar ships would combine Amarr and Minmatar tech.

So either Amarr hulls but with their stats changed to projectile guns, or Minmatar hulls with their stats changed to laser cannons. Think of the possibilities! Big smile

angels are minmatar/gallente, while serpentis are gallente/minmatar.....i dont see the problem

Not true.

Almost all Ammatar are true Nefantar, but not all Nefantar are Ammatar. Some portion of Nefantar defected from the Mandate at the beginning of the Elder War, returning to operate under the Republic's umbrella as the Nefantar Tribe proper. The Thrasher is their patrol craft, not a Mandate one.
