I am loyal to my land and people. What that man did to us is unforgivable, and frankly, I would kill him with my bare hands if I had the opportunity.

We are prospering more than ever without him.

My point concerns the Gallente military-industrial complex and the buffoons who run it, thinking they have the power to take us on.

If you want an end to Heth, don't perpetuate his bile.

We don't need to kill Gallente to be Caldari. We won our war for independence, any other fighting should be in defense of our sovereignty and interests. The Caldari Navy is a match for the Gallente, yes...in a defensive war. It's too small for a war of conquest, which suits us fine because we don't need to conquer.

And a helpful reminder: the war you're fighting is not the Caldari Navy vs. Gallente Navy, not in any significant way. The ones doing the bulk of the fighting on both sides are capsuleers, and as noted before, most of those care nothing for the Empires. They come for fights, rewards, or to prey on the weak. Only a small core of loyalists are in each militia, and it's easy to tell which faction is currently offering the most desired rewards simply by looking at who has the most systems.

When the war started, the Caldari dominated. Then the Federation, then the Caldari...do you see where this is going?

You're fighting a pointless war instigated by the man you claim to hate.

Give the young Lieutenant a break, gee.

Fights hard, spills blood and wants to celebrate the advances made by the Caldari Militia with a statement. And then gets shot down, even by some of his own "comrades". Seriously, most of you folks make me sick. Everyone needs to blow off steam now and then, none more-so than those who are busy fighting for us in the contested zones.

But AT LEAST in this thread it seems most of those commenting against him have somewhat of a basis to speak from, in other words - an actual combat record. Respect. It seems that sifting through all the bold opinions, swathing statements, flashy pins and intimidating self-imposed ranks displayed by many people in this Summit a real record of achievement seems to be a rarity indeed.

Ah, Kado-haan, such vigour.

We ought to talk at some point. Maybe drop by in the Rook at some point?

@Captain Dusette,

You're right. It can be tiresome to disect the flock of capsuleers and find out whose opinion matters on the topic at hand and who better ought to be quiet. Refreshing to find someone with such an astute view on these things.

This 'war' is cyclic in nature. You have lost all of the systems before, and it will happen again.

But let us look a little closer at your claims here shall we.
You claim that all of the systems in the warzone belong to the Caldari and should do.
As a native of the Intaki system, i take offence to such a claim, if your true intent was to take back Caldari systems, you would have stopped at the border and not invaded my home yet again.

As for the taking of no prisoners, are you allowing their escape pods to leave unmolested? If you are not, then you're in direct breach of the Yulai convention.

Be careful what path you walk down Kado, Even your own people are speaking against your claims.

Yeah, this brand of chest-beating bravado just isn't the Caldari way. We do what we do, and we do it well. Gloating about it is unseemly.

Coming for us next, huh? Roll

I think you'd best worry about the FDU's inevitable counter-offensive first. You should also take the counsel of more veteran pilots who've seen this played out before.

Given the content of this topic I'll just leave this quote from my old Navy Drill Instructor:

"The difference between a civilian who plays at war and a professional soldier is that one only talks **** while the other gets **** done."

Apt, I think.

While I can appreciate the zeal, it's hard to appreciate the lack of self-respect inherent in it... The fact that the victories earned, and well earned, are earned for the State, should be enough. We're Caldari, not barbarians. We don't need to descend to the enemies level to beat them. Heth-guri is gone, so let's finish what he lacked the spine to see through and move on.

Tuulinen-Haan , o7, it is good to hear your tempered wisdom in its effort to cool this freshly hammered Caldari pilots steel.

Though i share the Zeal of Kado-Haan I agree fully that a dignified silence is a much better alternative to bantering against the Gallente. Though i have done it in the past, admittedly.

Kado-Haan, you're the kind of soldier we look to mold into a fine Caldari ship commander in the Providence Guard. Apply through standard channels if you would preferr the company of like minded Caldarian patriots.

As for the original poster, congratulations on your meager victory in a pointless, endless war. You do yourself and the hard-working citizens of the State who serve aboard your vessels and die much good in capturing a system that will be in the hands of the Federation by the end of next week. Once again, congratulations.

No sense of patriotism in this one -_-'

Were it not for our brave state protectorate pilots and their crews willing to sacrifice for the state, liberating the systems the Federation has forcefully taken, we would have been overrun by the Gallenteans a long time ago. The Federation is where you belong if you don't support the people who defend you and yours from Federal oppression. Don't dare call yourself Caldari while you sit there behind the line shouting at your fellow countrymen that what they're doing for you is "pointless" and mock them when they achieve success. You sicken me.

Hamish, while she has proven you correct time and time again, she refuses to see the truth, preferring instead to believe that her choices were for the good of the state and not, in fact, both traitorous and damaging to the state and it's interests.

The honourable thing for her to do would be to end her existence quietly, either by the Tea, or the Sword.
I sincerely doubt she will take this path willingly.
