As the name implies, what is your "standard" fit to get the best omni tank?

Shield or Armor doesn't matter, but what are your numbers and modules? Who can get the best resists on a T1 unbonused ship?
EM / Therm / Kin / Expl.

I'll start first:
T2 "Cheap-Omni"
Damage Control II
2x Invuln Field II
Mag. Scattering Amp II
Heat Dissipation Amp II
Anti EM-Screen Reinforcer

For non shied bonused T1 ship:
73.9 / 77.2 / 72.8 / 77.4

Faction-Omni
Damage Control II
Cal. Navy Invuln
Invuln II (or another Cal. Navy...ups % by 1-2 per resist)
Cal. Navy Heat Dissipation Amp
Cal. Navy Mag Scattering Amp

For non shield bonused T1 ship:
75.2 / 80.2 / 75.7 / 79.8

Gonna have to provide a bit more information.

How many slots. What type of tank(Active, Buffer, Passive).

What ship you plan to use this info for and the situation where it is needed.

I'm not looking for a fit for any of my ships, I'm curious about what other pilots are fitting.

The idea is to post your best fit, and see how it stacks up against others. I suppose its more of a learing experience than an actual fitting issue.

Does that help?

Reps from a single overheating triage Archon give it an effective hp/sec rate of 196911...

Maybe a more realistic idea is "this is my omni-tank that I am willing to fly doing what I do and I'm willing to lose it if I screw up...here's my fit and numbers"

Your question is too vague. The tank of a ship is dependent on the ship itself and only in certain situations (yes, even "omni-tanks"... of which there are several versions of). We need to know how many slots and CPU/Powergrid we're working with.

How you set up your tank also depends on the situation...

What is the idea behind the ship's use? 1v1 or 1vMany or 1vBlob or Small-gangvSmall-gang or FleetvFleet? Logi/RR or no Logi/RR?

Oh sweet, it's another 'fill all available slots with damage/tank/whatever modules and ignore everything else' thread.

Go download EFT or pyfa or something and play with yourself...

Add a suitcase – check
Add a resist hole mod/rig – check
Add your omni-resist mod – check
Add some buffer mod/rig – maybe
Add damage mod/rig – check

Or as I do it

Add a suitcase – check
Add damage mod/rig – check
Add a resist hole mod/rig – check
Remove a damage mod/rig - check
Add your omni-resist mod – check
Remove a damage mod/rig - check
Add some buffer mod/rig – maybe
Remove a damage mod/rig - maybe

WOW! I'm glad everyone on this forum is willing to just say "here is my favorite Omni-tank for _____ purpose." Its vague on purpose! What do YOU like to fit. I already posted what I like to fit. I'm not looking for any suggestions or help or assistance. I'm just curious how do you choose to tank your ships, that you fly, that you use, and why do you do it that way. Sheesh.

Lets close the thread and leave it alone, clearly people aren't seeing what I'm getting at and they're pissed off at me for asking!!

Screen's & anti's with 1 Trimark is my favourite normally with Minmatar Magnetic and reactive or Photon and heat rig's as I don't often see many or much need for high em or explosive with exception.

I dunno if its right or not, but to answer your question on lighter ships I like to run thus.... I armor tank Amarr exclusively

Something like this

Navy Slicer (Lows)
Magnetic II
Reactive II
Thermic II
Nano II
DC II

This will land you in the mid 60%s across all types

Or heavier fits...

Abaddon (Lows)
EANM II
EANM II
EANM II
DC II
(Plates for PVP, Reps for PVE)

This will land you in the mid/low 70%s with Em in the 80%s

Becuase of Amarr CAP hunger I tend to stay away from active hardeners and/or duel repping..
