What the heck you guys talking about?

Not having a single issue with my clients launchers at all, none, nada, nicht, nothing. You must be doing or using something nasty to get such troubles.

This just in from the breaking news desk:

Nothing affects this guy, so it must be a problem on your end.

Film at eleven.

I don't use steam

I don't use bots or cracks

Since CCP has done some W8 fixes things work absolutely normal. Are you running Windows 3.1 and DX25?

Thanks for your comment, it really help OP fixing his issue and me increasing my forum posting.

Thanks for admitting your main concern here is ticking up your post count yourself rather than "helping" with your "I'm perfect you guys must be crazy" attitude in your first post yourself.

Perhaps if you actually understood the OP appears to be trying to spark up a discussion as to HOW the SSO is a single point of failure rather than more of a complaint of "My sh*t is broken" post, you wouldn't have had to babysit the thread and rack up more ship toasts.

I'm sure the 4+ pages of players in this thread...

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=255584

..are all out of sorts too since the outage/problem with the launcher they are all posting about around the same time the OP here started this thread wasn't affecting you.

HURRY! Your passing up a perfect opportunity to rack up even more posts! Go Go GO!

When the battle.net sign-on server is down, you still have access to nothing. It happened before. A few time in fact when the transfered to a single login system.

IIRC, the mobile side of the game is separate (which is the mobile armory and AH). Because issues on it doesn't affect the Battle.net zone server itself (which tackles logins and zone changes seen in CRZ). When they shut down mobile for an exploit recently, they didn't shut down WoW itself (which would happen if tied to the zone server). So you still will have access to features ingame outside it (like the guild bank too).

Forums are totally separate with a different staff operating it as well, despite if account management is down (independent setup). If WoW was DDoSed, there would be no need to shutdown the forums, they're not linked.

That's pretty much what I was going for. It's not so much of a "waahh, this is broken, fix it", but rather a "here's why it's broken; you really shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket."

Enjoying the rain today? ;)
