Behold...
KM removed, instead... here's a link to the story, incase you haven't already seen it http://evenews24.com/2013/06/27/nyx-killed-in-fountain/

That's right, TEST like to blow up their very own supers for shiney killmails,

All the while being, essentially, a bankrupt entity... attempting to fight a war on an estimated 0.5/1Tril/month...
Around 5000 pilots... 100mil per head per month, MAXIMUM...

What is the point in even... jesus.. *mind=blown*.

If you're a 30 man PvP corp with no alliance, and a new recruit decides to undock something very shiney... fine, if you're feeling trollish create the killmail.

But when you're one of the most influential player entities in the game, you have to take **** a little more seriously... otherwise what's the point? Just disband and go back to hisec mining like you were doing before you joined TEST.

30bil ISK for 30 minutes of VOIP lolz? when you can't even afford to fight the war you're putting so much effort into? What?Shocked

How did these reddit kids even get this far?

If he was dumb enough to get scammed he's dumb enough to lose that super in a hilariously dumb way

You need to explain because that kill mail makes no sense.

Nobody will disagree with that...

But what's even dumber... and even more hilarious... is the fact that TEST actually did it, like they are in a position to blow up Blue/Friendly/Alli supers? ha!

Come on... what exactly did they scam? a killmail? from their very own alliance? Roll

Imagine this... you have an army, you're broke and can barely even afford to equip your army with rusty old weapons to fight the war you're fighting, and it's getting worse each day...

You recruit this guy with some "super" useful equipment to help you fight the war...

And then... you blow him up, along with all of his "super" useful equipment...

Why? because it's "funny".

= that killmail.

I see.

Yea, the size of the a-hole who decided to make that kill is only comparable with a galactic cluster. No smaller order of magnitude will do. I hope TEST lose. I also hope Goons lose. They're both massive ****. However, I want them to continue the war for a while because sales volumes are good at the moment.

Your first problem is that that nyx wasn't a blue/friendly/allied super. He was a neutral super who was tricked into bringing his super to TEST's space. I don't know what he could possibly expect other than to get it blown up.

I'm not gonna waste time explaining to you.

Take it or leave it, he was BLUE.

TEST being TEST decided that no super pilot would be dumb enough to join them while they are loosing Fountain war left and right.

Hence Nyx pilot has to be a spy !
CF spai no less !
Would be no suprise if it was Mittanis wife or Mittani himself !

Being awsome, like TEST allways was, they blew up friendly Nyx with a pilot that had a bunch of ships in hull genuinely wanting to help and participate in what is TEST failure cascade.

TL;DR
TEST dumb-asses thought you were a spai and blew you up.

OK, I'm CFC and still I have to disagree with the core of your post.
(I mean the title I'm fine with, CFC will win!)

But the post, First you are raising the fact that they killed a nyx that they lured into a trap. They could have used him, sure, but how much use is a new nyx pilot anyway? The risk of adding him to the cap group so soon after joining would be bad enough then on top of that he doesn't know the way cap ops work.

Secondly, your are taking your figures on TESTs finances directly from Gevlon Goblin's post. I cannot stress this enough: He has literally no idea how null sec works and even less of an idea about TESTs specific finances. We're all hearing that test are struggling financially, but other than TEST high command, nobody can comment on the level of that struggle. Least off all a high sec margin trader that thinks he's the first person to break 0.5T alone.

That also sounds like the Goons.

So as the "rulers", we have monkey A and monkey B.

Boring.

And the rest of EvE moves on.

I'll add this: if the gameplay doesn't include you, nor do you want to be involved in it (no incentive anyway); and even if monkey A loses and is replaced with monkey B, it's the same o' same o' what's the purpose?

At least in WoW if the Horde comes to my home city, I'll go out and heal my allies and even if there's not 40+ players to meet them, it's still fun to play (because I can heal a tank through 10+ players) mowing them down. I don't have to sit on the sidelines afterwards because of the death penalty. And I can do that every single day, not having to worry about losing every piece of gold in the process (or having to farm for weeks to replace the only way I can heal in a battle -- and not every alliance/corp has a ship replacement policy, as it's expensive for fleets).

So this is like watching the heroic raiders in trade chat smack talking. It's their thing, the rest of the game doesn't care.

We've killed our own caps and supers before. it's no big deal. In this case it was a scam and the idiot who fell for it had no business being in a super. He'd have been more of a liability than a help. It's best that we welped his super for him than someone else.

I wouldn't expect highsec EN24 reading publord to understand the nuances of nullsec life. Carry on shooting your red crosses and go back to sleep.

Lack of ISK doesn't kill alliances, pessimism and the fail cascade does. So long as they can afford their ship replacement program you don't have any problem. Even if they can't afford that, enough dedicated pilots with an income source (they're in null, they can grind out a Battleship worth of ISK in no time), can carry on a war indefinitely so long as they are dedicated to the cause and are confident in their alliance.

I personally don't think Test will make it, but that is besides the point. An alliances' financial situation only plays a small part in whether they win or lose.

As for this killmail, it doesn't really matter, unless it causes Testies to lose faith in their superiors. In which case, it really will.

This is why nullsec needs to be bombed back to the Mad Max age.
