If you close a corp... anybody can remake it using the same name.

It's not stealing if you give it away. Also judging by your recent stats, you're probably better off without it.

duh i know that, look its a pretty unique name, and ticker, and was created pretty much as soon as i closed it (to reopen it), therefore i think it constitutes it was stolen on purpose.

anyway its not a moan or complaint, sh^t happens, we been in some major wars recently so its for information incase anyone gets approached.. simple as...

So it is stolen because you believe you should still own the corp name even when you disbanded it and put it up for anyone else to take?

You should really think about things before you accuse some poor soul of theft.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

NP, It is what I do! Still though I think you should really apologise for calling someone a thief when they clearly got the name by legal methods.

Looks to me like it was one of your old members.

Maybe he decided he wanted to keep the corp going when you selfishly closed the corp.

While calling it theft is perhaps a little inaccurate, for someone to grab the corp name and ticker within minutes of you closing the corp would suggest they knew you planned to close it and when you were going to do it. just saying ....

Its not theft, since you closed it, but someone deliberately nabbed it before you could pick it up again.

Edit: should have read last post before posting my comment I guess :P
