Remote reps on strategic cruisers

The wording of the rules this year seems to imply that you can use remote rep modules on a strategic cruiser even if it's not fitted with the subsystem for remote repping. I vaguely remember that in some previous tournament this was not allowed, so I'm asking for a clarification.

You've always been welcome to fit a remote rep on one T3 that doesn't have the logi subsystem, in the old rules or the new rules. I can't imagine it will be a popular option but it's there if you want it.

FYI: You can fit remote reps on one, and ONLY one ship.... and that ship must be a T1 support (logi) Frigate, t1 support (logi) cruiser, a Logistics cruiser, or a Tier 3.

Please say T3 cruiser, not Teir 3, even though I'd love to see a RR Talos, those would rock
