Ship AI upon unwanted Disconnect

Hello

This is mostly for Mission Runners / PvE players mostly. At the current stage upon disconnect (well electricty could go off - Some real issue might interfere or any of 100 possible reasons you löse your internet connection ) your ship simply tries to make emergency warp to a safe spot and will eventually disappear there provided your timers go up (logical)

Just imagine you are in a Missian Killer PvE ship..Very expensive and Likely quite overpowered (I can bet many players have such ship for funding their PvP activites) But while doing a quite ez mission / 9/10 Ded almost semi afk... U lost internet connection "while you are scrambled by an NPC" ... Current AI idiotically calls all drones back, turns off all modules and tries to warp off... Ofcourse unseccesfully as it is scrambled !! Provided that u cannot re-connect in mere minute u are sure to löse your ship...

While with simple AI fixing the ship could (should) instead launch all drones against the scramble as well as auto cycling all weapons against that same ship... That way at least, if your ship is fit correctly you will never löse it to non-gameplay issues due to lost connection - Lag Spike or Server Crush etc... Would also save CPP many re-imbursement requests. (As a decent enough ship could survive enough when it prioritises the scrambler and tries to warp away)

Ideas ??

Wait..... CCP gives Reimbursements? O_o

eh, I found their reimbursements rules.... and here one of the rules...

4. Losses caused by lag or non-server related disconnection will not be reimbursed.

Modules continue to work even when you lose connection until you log off. If you are scrambled - you'll stay in mission with all modules on until capacitor is empty and/or tank fails. I dont know how long they stay turned on tho.

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

Instead of the OP's original suggestion why not just say:

I want an immediate Warp-Off on disconnect no matter if scrambled?

Don't stealth it dude, just ask :)

Modules stay active while and during the warp-off. I've had a CTD and when I logged back in inside 2 minutes my modules were still active as I was warped back to where I'd left.

Working as intended.

Well thats weird as the CCP guy told me exactly the reverse !! He claimed all modules are off - Drones called back and ships tried to warp off.

No the idea is not "Give a free jail card" the idea is : Do not let out of game issues ruin the game... If CCP let ppl autowarp off for DC everyone would simply log off when scrambled in mission and in trouble... No one would löse a ship to "game" that case...
The thing which you ppl cannot bother to try understand or "read" or "can not really understand" is currently people are losing ships to stuff entirely out of game and out of control such as Internet problems * Lag Spikes etc ... where at least 80% of the cases any stupid dumb AI could get the ship out of harms way... Which would have NO EFFECT on PvP no downsides..

Such a bad idea ?

Yes but still they make exceptions when it is obvious that the DC was not willful or they think possibly server could have a part in it.
