The War of Northern Aggression

Fountain rages in conflict. The North burns. The South crumbles. The East is in turmoil, and the West is under siege. The forces of the CFC march to the drums of war against their former friends and allies in Test, eager to wrest the material wealth of an entire region away from them. Nulli Secunda, Pandemic Legion, and the Northern Coalition amongst others, stand in their way and are prepared to crack the CFC in order to break the power hold that the largest single collective entity in the game has held for years. Alliances will fight and die under the banner of their choosing, moons will be taken and lost, sovereignty captured and stolen, supers murdered and fleets butchered.

Welcome, all, to the Third Great War.

A Timeline of Events So Far:

  • State of the Goonion/Declaration of War for Fountain
  • Beginning of the CFC advance into Fountain
  • Sort Dragon disbands Mistakes Were Made (O7M8), flips stations to the CFC
  • CFC deploys station 4-EP in Fountain
  • Height of the Fountain Campaign for the CFC; 15+ systems captured
  • First Battle of J5A-IX; N3 + PL + BL + PIZZA join the battle on TEST's side.
  • Deployment of Goku Fleet by Nulli Secunda against the CFC
  • Two Gentlemen's Agreement CSAAs reinforced; both are killed.
  • CFC Great TFI whelp in the attempt to save the destroyed CSAAs
  • CFC deploys Caracal fleets and discontinues using Techfleet (TFIs + Tengus + Lokis)
  • BL + 4O1K + PIZZA campaign of aggression in Venal/Tribute
  • Q-CAB station in Tribute taken; CFC slowcat fleet trapped inside of the station.
  • Two CFC Nyxs are downed in the fight for 9R4 in Fountain
  • Nulli Legio loses two Erebus and a Nyx.
  • Black Legion accepts CFC ransom payment, discontinues campaign of aggression on CFC sov structures.
  • Finfleet joins 4O1K, which continues attacking and reinforcing CFC assets in Tenal, Venal, Branch, and Tribute.
  • Station systems in Fountain are slowly flipped back to TEST control.
  • Director level spy disbands S2N Citizens, the renter alliance of Nulli, and Nulli Legio.
  • N3 + PL return east to reclaim huge chunks of sov for the renter alliance.
  • CFC resurgence into Fountain is halted and turned back; control of Fountain systems falls to 8 systems for the CFC.
  • 4-EP station enters armor reinforcement; it is the last station stronghold left inside of Fountain at the point of this writing, and the only ones that the Goons made themselves.



Preface:
For those that are wondering as to why such a thread is not inside of a forum like the Corporation and Alliance Discussion subforum, it's because I don't want to see it die a cold and lonely death inside of there due to the fact that the forum has not seen much activity in years and likely never will. This is not really a discussion for the corporations and alliances and their individual merits and disadvantages, but instead as a congregating place to discuss the ongoing war effort between the two titanic sides that are now facing and squaring off to each other in battle for the control of one of the richest regions in space Post-Odyssey. As such, I will try to keep up with the thread as much as possible and update on developments as time goes by with battle reports, accounts from people, and other such things and give them to the thread, if they are not here and posted already by anyone participating or taking a part in this thread.

Well despite the the fact that it wasn't a spy, but a disgruntled director in S2N citizens, and 4-EP is in shield reinforcement currently. It is a pretty accurate timeline.
