Hi all,

First post in this thread & im pretty new to the forums overall so be gentle if this has been posted a million times before.

I was wondering if the max zoom in location could be changed along with a feature to lock the camera to the ship rather than space.

What id essentially like to see would be an "above cockpit" view option, so you could zoom right in to the front of the ship and lock the camera with a smaller portion of the ship taking up space at the botton of the window, then be able to lock the view

At the moment what you seem to get is "Thruster cam" on maximum zoom.

Just a little thing but would help with immersion and make for some cool easy to access eye candy, taking a fast frig from 20k to orbit at 500m in a firefight would be a beautiful thing to see.

Like i say, just a suggestion. Keep up the good work CCP.

Ya, I think they should implement a change in where you can anchor the Camera drone.
for example: cockpit/guns/under hull/missile cam, etc. (can have these hot keyed)

Putting it on top of the cockpit or on top of the hull itself would help with Immersion and also get the afterburner trail out of the way so you can not only see what's going on, in an almost first person pov, but so you can enjoy the work CCP put into the graphics.

Would also enjoy HD texture pack or the like for us with Monster machines (I get 140-180 FPS when running a single client on max EVERYTHING). -- just saying Big smile

You can thank the jovians for your current pov, don't forget there's no cockpit in your pod. Everything you see and hear is an enhanced computer model designed by the jove as the most efficient way to get information into the capsuleer's mind. Given how alien the jove are compared to other humans, you are lucky to get the camera drone.

40 clients? Or 40 FPS?

Cause it looks like it says 1700 fps, albeit with some crappy station fx

I just wish that when you undock you are not zoomed into the front of your ship. Really annoying when on a hauler and everytime you undock, you have to zoom back out.

40 clients and 1700 fps

I prefer to play on low so that all my clients run perfectly smooth.

I think ultimately a little more control over the camera positioning would be good for all of us. Really like the idea of being able to lock the camera under wing / thruster / cockpit etc.
