I like how CCP made clear glasses, but I wish they made them look like prescription glasses. I made a video, and part of it I talk about the new glasses and what mine looks like. I also found a picture of some glasses that CCP could work off of.

Here is a link to the video.

As far as scars goes. Please add some more scars. Scars are another way people can recognize others. On top of that, each scar has it's own story. And some people want to reflect those stories on their alt.

As for those of you who thinks we shouldn't have prescription glasses or scars. I've been wearing glasses for most of my life. Because of this, I don't want to have the ability to not wear them any more. Also, I'm sure some people won't recognize others if they didn't have their scars or glasses.

I'm going to add another request here for white labcoats for sciencey/researchy characters... and thigh-high boots...

edit: Also +1 to the OP's request.

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.

I also demand beerguts, dunlops, acne, bodyhair and double chins in the character creator.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

A lab coat will be cool.

Believe it or not, it's possible people might have todays problems and then some. I am sure the radiation from stars, ships, space doesn't help.

Anyways, I also think we wouldn't look like today's humans in a space society. There is a high chance that a alt in EVE would have to deal with a totally different amount of gravity/environment than what we deal with. This means the body will adjust to a new shape over generations. (An example of this is today's dogs. After breeding a dog down 6 generations in a new environment. You will see some changes that helps the new breed of dog in the new environment. Also, you will see some things breed out of the dog.)

So if you are going for a realistic society, physics, etc. This isn't the game for you. However, if you are going for a realistic market. This is the game for you.

And prescription glasses would look different to what exactly? The same from the outside as the Clear Glasses introduced? I just don't see the need at all.

Scars...WTF not eh! I'm sure in time they'll be more scars so a 0.5 for you OP.

Asking CCP to waste manpower to introduce your own personal prescription glasses and your personal scar is about as impudent as asking for your personal house slippers or individual warts to be implemented.

It would look different to the aviator glasses. I've been in many eye glasses places, and I never seen a prescription aviator glasses.

Anyways, don't get me wrong on the entire thing. I am happy they are trying. I also understand it's easier to modify something you already have.

Except as tehnology is concerned, umans have this knack of not living in an environment long-term if they cannot make it as comfortable as home, the artificial gravity and other factros contributing to that would mean not much "adaptation" would have to take place physically.

also, we are immortal CLONES, so regardless fo waht we had before we were capsuleers, or what the average person suffers from, capsuleers are generally devoid of significant physical defects, ebcause were engineered bodies, and producing a product with a flaw is a good way to **** off that guy who doesnt answer to the law and cant be killed.

so, glasses would only be for cosmetic purposes on a capsuleer, and scars are generally kept for the same reason people in real life dont get scars treated, it reminds them of something, someone, or someplace in their life, is part fo their character, and dont wantt o part with it.

also i want to reiterate that the human body will not change even after generations in space simply because if people cant make it JUST like home, they woudlnt live their, negating the need for physical adaptation, humans adapt the environment, not to it.
