Recently a A freind of mine was podded for no reason. After looking into to this the doughnut was afk in a retty and forgot to deploy his drones so the rats killed his barge.

The annoying thing was some char older than him podded him in the belt for no reason. Because of this I decided to try and get him and his corp back. I had already been an alt sitting in stn training for fw with a ishkur but decided to try my luck against this guys.

Once I had decent but basic skills I created my little corp and declared war on the corp that podded my mate. Please dont get me wrong I could have just sent a email to there ceo asking but I couldnt be arsed with that and tbh I thought I wouldnt get anywhere with it.

Once I was ready I started checking on this corp using eve kill and locating where these chars might have bases or hang out.

Once completed and with only 1.5 mill sp I declared war on them.

Within a few hours of declaring war this corp joined a alliance in null sec thus increasing my dec fee. I thought there trying to evade the war dec so I decd the alliance aswell

So theres me with 1.6 mill sp going against a alliance of 400 members. If I took that as a percentage im assuming roughly 70 online at one time with about 20-30 of those in high sec.

It has no where been a huge war but im getting a massive buzz of this war and its quite good fun.

does anyone have any tips that I could take in the future or is pvp only a small fix in doses?

Members from high sec are dropping now and 2 corps have drop the alliance aswell. From my notes there mission runners and miners.

ahwell will have to add evey single one of there alliance to watch list and find em

I like you. So often we only hear whiners on the boards complaining about how a PVP game is unfair because they died.

Podding is normal though... I never (if I can help it) fly around space in a pod especially in high sec because there are players whose specific mission in their EvE life is to pod.

update...

hmm quiet on the western front. Training cloak now. been having a look at eft and evemon and they say its gonna take a while for me to get in a arazu so i read up on bombing and watched some youtube clips which was fun.

so I go for the bombing ship and randomly decloak and drop a bomb on them. prob wont kill them but it sounds funny.


As for the high sec mission runners i found one the other day but hes a bit smart. hes only running missions in the system so now im having to train up a probing alt to get his id on the un dock then prob him out quick and warp to him in a fast ship.

I think the whole idea of them being at war is pissing them off a bit now as im not seeing alot of them log on in my timezone. Will have to try and catch them out and pull a sick day to get them.

It was a similar situation that got me into PvP. Only you are having a much more successful start. Long may it continue.
