Why can't we read CAOD without logging in?

After having used the forums for a couple of days I am getting a more and more positive feeling about them.

I have not even used the 'hide' option yet, but the ability to tag posts as favorites at get notified when they get updated is great. Now I can simply tag the few posts that actually are woth reading and keep an eye on while even better ignoring the mass whining threads. In fact, all the new features that make it easier to ignore the common forum troll/idiot are much appreciated.

Though, I am experiencing a lack of functionality from the old forums; I can no longer easily switch between characters (on the same account) to post with. That is proberly only a problem for people that have forum presence with more than one character like me, though.

So, still small font (at least no tiny like the first time) and now we get NO option to make it larger in forum settings.... great improvement. And, I suppose, still no pictures or color tags - way to improve things.

It still takes only half of the screen unless you use 4:3 monitor (really? when game UI basicly requires you to use widescreen) with no option to make it wider.

No option for blank background (I understand that you want to show door to everyone - judging by amount of logged plyers it works - but any background is still going blank after first post → useless)

Still full with these stupid scripts so I can't make reply in separate tab... yeah some might want to actually read thread before finishing reply - imagine that

No multiquote alnog with prvious feature makes it even worse

Plus replying it still shows only last 10 posts.... why not add OP there? because everyone who replys only does it to last 10 posts? Guess it's all made to help with low amount of trolling and offtopic posts in threads.

At least it works faster than the first time....

Disclaimer:

Every single character used in this post is a work of fiction. Any similarities with real-world alphabet, or - god forbid - language is purely unintnetional!

Can someone explain to me how there can be a problem with my BBCode when the only BBCode is injected using the built in editor?

changing the character you post with is now much more clumsy than it used to be... What?

it would be very nice to have a list of characters as a dropdown when hovering over the "switch character" link and then be able to select a different character with just one click (without having to leave the forum page you are currently browsing).

Insert a URL in your post.

Then try to put a %-sign anywhere in your post - and you get the BBC error message....

Took awhile to figure why I'm not allowed to use percentage signs in my posts...
And I'm surprised is use them that much Oops

Did you completely gut the existing parser for the forum and write a new one from scratch or something....

We are aware of the issue with %-signs in posts. This is also the same issue that Skex was reporting above.
