Freighter Webbing for NPC Hauler Alts

My understanding is if you want to web your freighter into warp, the usual way is bring an in-corp alt along. Since you're in the same corp, the alt or corpmate does not pick up a global suspect flag from aggressing you, so he can't be ganked by any random passers by.

If your freighter pilot is in an NPC corp, as many are, then I assume this no longer works because you can't use a corpmate, since NPC corp members cannot aggress each other without consequences.

So, I have two questions:

(1) Is being in-fleet enough to prevent you from picking up a suspect flag when you web a fellow fleet member? (I think the answer to this is no.)

(2) If the freighter pilot and webber enter a duel, can the webber then web the freighter without picking up a suspect flag? (It seems like the answer should be yes, meaning the webber can be anyone, including an NPC-corp-mate, a random alt, or any trusted friend, with no requirement that it be a corpmate or otherwise privileged to aggress you.)

EvE is supposed to suck.  Wait . . . what was the question?

1: no.
2: I would imagine so, but I have never tried it.

1) fleet has absolutely no effect on aggression rules

2) Yes; duels create a limited engagement and allow the involved parties (and only the involved parties) to shoot each other.

The duel mechanics is how you circumvent the out-of-corp situation.
Before the dual mechanic, people were purposely going suspect with the webber, and then having the freighter pilot shoot that pilot about a minute or so before their Suspect flag ended. This would create a Limited Engagement, and would allow further acts of aggression (webbing) after the Suspect flag ended. Thankfully, duels made a much simpler mechanism to get the Limited Engagement!!!

I just used to exchange cans.

I imagine the dual mechanic is an easier alternative.

Freighters are just like giant carebears with extra care if you see a freighter and have the opportunity to put a dent in it's ass torpedos work very well. "What you didn't even address the ethical considerations of blowing up a freighter! Waah Waah!" In my old corp we blew up this care bear that was freightering (it's a word) his crap to the system we were based in. Long story short we blew him up anyway even though he'd recently been in an accident and was a cripple IRL. Do care bears deserve any less than to be blown up at every opportunity to do so? Yes, Why? Because they have ruined this game. Every care bear suggestion every care bear whine has been heard by CCP and what do they do? They mofuggin change the game to appease these bottom feeding, asteroid digesting wastes of a consciousness that can be transmitted across space and revived.

Duel. But make sure you turn off the duel feature on the freighter character so you don't accidentally accept duels from gankers. Then have the freighter pilot initiate the duel.

Stay delusional.
Carebears are the ones who keeps EVE running.
I'm not in any way trying to say "Don't gank carebears", actually, I encourage it (I do it myself), but you need to understand that carebears are a vital part of EVE's economy. There's no way nullsec/lowsec miners can gather enough of the less valuable minerals to feed the beast that is EVE's manufacturing industry. There's no way the minerals, ships or other materials/modules/things in general can be moved effectively without freighters. And who's gonna put it all together to get ships and modules? You?
Don't be so quick to bash on something that makes EVE the game it is.
Also, CCP aren't making hisec any safer for carebears. It's still easy to pop miners and freighter/industrial pilots, and I don't see it getting any harder later on.
