Hi,

We just made a C4 data site with our corporation. And on behalf of exploration frontier inc, I wish that the guy who had the brilliant idea to put this minigame in wormhole find that every piece of chocolate he owns has become rancid !!

We spend A FULL HOUR not for doing the site, but for actually "playing" with this ****** minigame where you have to "bring friends" so that they can be bored while you hack.

We were six. Six people. We didn't miss any container, and yet for this full hour we only gained 30 mil in hacking loot. TOTAL. That's 5 mil / hour / player. And one hour were we were actually BORED. Even me, doing the minigame again and again.

So.. We already knew that Radar loot is crap, but putting it in cans so that it turns 30mil/5min into 30mil/1hour ??? Seriously ?!

This minigame is crap, it's boring, repetitive, annoying for the others, it is also bugged, as once my module ceased to trigger the hacking window. I had to eject / board to see a "hacking failed" to be able to try again.
The can collection is laggy, one of my friend didn't see the cans for several seconds before they appeared. It is also not fun, and this damned clickfest is definitely NOT EVE.

So, I would be VERY PLEASED if you were REMOVING this crap out of my wormhole, and leaving it to the carebears that are not enough used to the game to understand which feature is crap.

The worst part is that we warned you about these problems. All of them. I spend a lot of time on sisi testing these new features, I saw the minigame evolve and I wrote feedback on it. Damned, I even wrote a french hacking guide, first in the french community, one day before release, so that our community could at least understand the feature quicker.

This sh*tfest at least shows me that you CCP still have to learn modesty and pragmatism, obviously you also didn't learn from your past mistakes. When players are saying that its crap, I assure you that their opinion is worth a thousand time the opinion of the designer who had this BRILLIANT idea.

Have a nice day.

I remember your kind when you think something is yours such as your wormhole. Oh man the good old days when me and my pirate friends would go and take what they think is theirs. I got hundreds of kills from that when we would kick a corp out of so called their wormhole. Just because you think something is yours doesn't mean it is because people can take it away just like that in a instant! Keep thinking that way and taking like that then one day somebody will find you and take it and kick you out for taking crap in the forums to make a point or just do that because that's what they do. Too bad I don't play much anymore but back in the day that's what me and my pirate friends would do to people like you just because it was fun. XD

Also you suck at this hacking stuff. You should quit eve and give noobs your stuff. Roll

Someone needs to make a meme (preferably animated gif):

Do not care about income.

Talks about income.

Doesn't read quotes.

Poorly tries to talk about quotes.

The difference in income between the two is irrelevant, it's a stupid amount in both cases (30 mil). It just becomes even more irrelevant. I'm trying to highlight the fact that this minigame doesn't add anything interesting, makes you waste time... And most important, forces you to "bring friends" without giving them a way to keep them buzy while you hack a container. Worse, hacking the container is boring very quickly. Worst, we were actually playing Eve Online but it was by no mean an Eve Online feature.

Okay.. So basically you've analyzed two letters in my whole initial post. I suggest you start being constructive next time you want to say something ?
And I definitively play this minigame the perfect way. Not hard to reach this cap anyway, as there is almost no room for experience, knowledge, and learning.

Please keep feeding me these delicious tears. I'm bored at work on a Sunday. It's getting me through the day.

Hacking mini game is good. You just need to get better at it. Also why did you have 6 people sat doing nothing just waiting for the cans to pop out? 2 per can is enough. You could of had 3 people hacking with 3 in support and been done in a lot less time.

In other words......

What do you find good about the hacking game? What is the appeal that you get from it? What stimulus or excitement do you get when you are done with it? Do you feel accomplished that you managed to hack it? Did you get a little tingle when you saw all the cans pop out? What is good about it to you?

I ask this because I'm so bored of this game there is no appeal after the first five times I've played it. Its unimmersive, boring, dull, lackluster, pointless, and a waste of time. You click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click SPEW click click click click click click. Seriously and in all honesty, what is there to like about it? Please try to convince me why the hacking minigame is good other then "its good".

HTFU about not liking an RSI inducing clickfest minigame that brings with it more clicking than the original exploration system before Odyssey that is better suited in a webapp for facebook or in a collection of flash games.

I'll give you this though, having six people sitting around waiting on one person to hack is not the smartest thing when it comes to being efficient and you're right in that having two people wait for the spew is more than enough. Technically after running the sites enough you know what cans to pick up and which ones not to and you should be able to solo them unless you really really really feel it necessary to get every single can that pops out.
