On the bright side, I believe CCP specifically hired a guy to watch the Ethernet cables, and plug them back in whenever someone trip over them in the server room since these connection issues are getting shorter and shorter

Not sure it was a server problem this time. Looked more like a regional internet problem.

My alt is stuck in game. Logged it off, no aggression timers, no npc timers, no timers at all but they wont disappear from local halp ccp!

I got one for you....

I got a socket warning then pow I crashed and couldent even get back till I ran the client repair tool the launcher was showing server status unkown but eve-down said it was up What?

I was really confused for a while there because I could still get on the internet other wise

I had the socket crash, could not log back in. Restarted PC..... still could not log on.

Looked like someone rebooted a network device, or did an oops with a cable that shouldn't be touched
